man my mom has nokia 6233 and i have a w810i..
honestly saying my w810i is the best for listening to music and taking pictures.well i like w810i better then 6233 but 6233 has the advantage in technology in 3g...honestly saying i feel the nokia 6233 is very boring with looks like the 6080....

Both the W810 & the 6300 have bad louspeakers with low volume...
something like the 6233 would be best for you

umm....guyz i'm buying a new cellphone and im kinda confused which one to buy !!...i want a good speaker phone !!...camera not less than 2 megapixel...should have a Memory card slot !..........i really dont care about the headphone sound coz i already have my ipod for that !!...i want good speaker sound...not like 5300....dats a bit too much !!....either this phone or nokia 6300 !! plz suggest...or any other good phone !! :)

hi jm...
first of all you must be clear regarding what is the function of an equalizer. an equalizer can vary sound outputs according to ones tastes.... so it all depends on an individual how he would want his songs to be heard. it's exactly like the saying that beauty lies in the eyes of beholder. the settings i prefer are the first column has to be set to 60 to 80 percent depending on the amount of bass you want. the 2nd column is to be set at 60 percent. the 3rd column decides the vocal loudness... so i've placed it at 50 percent. the last 2 columns are for trebles... so set them at 80 and 100 percent respectively.... to get that crisp effect. well with these settings most songs will be a pleasure to listen to but you might have to vary the 1st or 3rd band while listening to very old numbers. but remember one thing that these settings are effective only on the headset. you may also try other combinations... coz an equalizer is provided for that purpose... isn't it.

To Cell phone lover and anyone wishing to convert videos, use ImTOO ipod movie converter. Download this for free and convert videos for 5mins max to MP4 at 176x144 resolution. Video and sound quality are superb. Or u can use sony ericsson media studio to convert to hi quality 3gp with average-poor sound quality.

just set all of the equalizer bands to the maximum! The sound output would be at its best this way :-)

I've bot this fone last month. I was bit perplexed choosing fone. I suggest neone facing my problem...just don waste ut time and get this cell. It simply is the best among all within its price range. It really has awesome base s well s soung quality. Get it soon.
