Hi everybody. I was just wondering if anybody went to the Sony Ericsson site to download that newest software for this phone ?
I downloaded the software on the computer. And now I'm trying to put it on my cell phone. For some reason, it won't work.
Here are the following instructions that the site told me I have to do to get this new software:
1) Make sure battery is fully charged
2) Connect USB to the computer
3) Turn off your phone
4) Remove and reinsert the phone battery
5) Press and hold the C button on your phone while plugging in the USB to your phone.
6) Continue holding the C button
After doing all these steps, I kept holding the C button for a really long time.
Can somebody try it and give me an answer ?

Lots of my friends own a Nokia N70. So I got to compare the Nokia N70's camera to the Sony Ericsson W810i's camera.
The difference between the two cell phones is HUGE !
Sony Ericsson W810i is way better. Especially when it comes to outdoor photos.

I've had the same problem before and i had it checked by an SE tech. the pad was just corroded by water all he did was to blow it dry. =)

Hello everyone, i would like someone to give me some cool sites that offer some cool car related games.
So far i have not experienced any problems with my W810! Its cool. It rocks man. Its way out of this world.
My advice to those who have this phone is, save your games, pics, and videos on your Memory Stick. Trust me. If you save them on your phone, it will slow down the progress of your phone and the colour quality may be affected also.

very good phone i love it and i dont think that any nokia phone can beat it even the n91 or the 5700 in sound quality .. and it has a camera which is better than any other 2 megapixel camera. .

Thank you, Dam. I'm going to try it soon. And I'll tell you if it improved the sound or not.
Anyways, I got the hang of the new software. I didn't put it on my phone yet, because I have a question.
Is it possible that everything might be erased if I put in the new software ?

Its one of the most best phone of Sony Ericsson.Sony Ericsson had done a great job in mobile industry in the last 2 years.Other cell phone companies r in tention Keep it up ..................W810Ii really rocking?

Well, if you ask about the best equalizer for this phone, try lowering it's bass and increasing its mid and treble. I use this equalizer whether I use the headset or the speaker. I found that w810 can't give a good bass sound in speaker while it give a over bass sound in headset. So, by reducing its bass will give a better sound for w810. And... by increasing its mid and treble, vocal will be heard more detail.
Well, it is on my opinion and my w810 though... I don't know about you guys but I hope you guys will love it

i m using sony w810i.. probably its the best phone in the current market... but has a problem... i m not able to set mp3s as my ringtunes.. any suggestions on how to make it work..??

i like sonny ericson phones very much, Because they are prices are cheaper than other phones, they have fuctions too on there phone.but they are not quality, It dosen't have long warranty. The key board will started having problems first... nice,,

It's the coolest fon. No doubt an iPOD does not match w810i's mega base also sound quality. The pix r superb and macro funtion is always great. Guys don't waste ur time n get 1 soon.

hey zenyt... read your post after a long time... i liked the way you explained things to trisha.
@trisha.... zenyt is absolutely correct. nokia phones for eg 1110 or 1112 are very reliable. i myself had a 2100. but there's no nokia phone which can stand at par with the w810i. i've got opera mini installed in it. I'm using the opera browser to post this message. other than that i've also got morange, ymess installed in it. if you try to use these on a N series, your phone will start cribbing... it's junk. use a w810i you'll see the difference...

@trisha nokia phone are very reliable ?!? muaho ho ho ....sorry i can't stop laughing ...i'm doing that for about 5 min now .. :D ..yes ..nokia is very reliable if you're talking about nok 1112,1110 ,1100..etc ..but please don't say that "N" series is reliable!!if you are a nokia fan and u want a phone that sound's better than w810i ..than try the 3250 ..has a very loud sound ...and it's in the same price range with w810i...but the speacker sound of 3250 is the only thing better than w810i .....for problems and other things(wap,mms,internet settings..etc) now is a relativly new concept on SE web page ...sonyericsson.com/weknow

W810 is the best... your actualy getting what you paid for
