i have a question regarding the disc2phone software. can i use the w300i software to transfer music on the w810i? or do i have to again install the software included on the w810i?
please help..thanks

it's really nice phone as a am music buzz. but i feel to have this and it seem to be really wonderful by designers.

i got this phone. I am wondering if it is possible to watch mpeg or wmw files on this phone. Is there any such software to install into this phone? I know it is unnecessary but just out of curiosity... I see some people are able to watch films on their phones, is there such a thing possible for w810? thanks...

to ice...man you must be having a defect model..go to the dealer shop and ask to change it...the camera it's the same that k750i has..i have no problem with and many other users don't have...about the card now ...:)) do you own a pc? what's your harddrive specification ?? (let's say 160 gb )--if u try and do properties on your hdd u'll see that's only 155GB or something..that's the capacity of all storage devices (hdd's , memory cards) still a guy that knows informatics would tell you why...it's something about bites and byts ..

i am an old SE user but yeah i have used nokia too way back. i have rescently bought my w810 a week ago and its awesome. let me tell why to buy this phone.
1)Great sound quality especially with headphones, ok now dont compare it with N95 or those expensive phones believe me no nokia or any other brand compares to its sound quality(in its price range and some what even above)their are hardly 2 or 3 nokia phone with better quality but again either they are twice as expensive or lack other feature (and their is not much difference in sound compared with W810).
2) It has the lagendry SE 2.0 megapixel camera and this is 2 mega pixel in the true sence ok i have used N73 which has a 3.2 megapixel camera no doubt N73 has a better camera quality but if used with in proper lighting and if and kept stedy while taking picture its quality is compareable especially in day time colors are sharp all those little things like macro and other features work propers not showoff. in short very practical camera indeed.
3)Now this thing in very important no body normally bothers aboutit but agitates while using. its processor speed is exceptional menus are very fast even if you are multitasking like music with play list edistiong or message writing it seems it not have effect or processor however even N73 is slower and hangs quite alot while multitasking.(guys if you have used SE walkman phones and you actually use all the features then i bet you cannot switch to anyother barand unless you dont know what you like)
6) It has a 512 MB card sold with the phone and has a built in memory of 24 MB and you can put a card upto 4 GB but i am not quite sure about 8GB, well their is no other phone that compares.
5)Good looking easy to use and now with EDGE which previous models dont have.
I had W800 before W810 i sold that one but soon realized i couldnot live with out this phone so i bought W810 with virtually all athe same features. i had the option i could have gone for a chage but this is the best phone.
best value for money, you can't regret.

Right after a year of having the phone the screws from the back fell. Right now I'm holding it with an elastic band. Warranty is expired, and so now I have to pay to get it fixed. I'm not paying a penny, it's the way this phone is designed, it's a piece of garbage. It's also so heavy.

well ... w810 and w 610 are almost same ... other than a slight different desgin n walkman media player 2.0 ... ! well i had k750 now i want to buy another s.e phone ... ! i have three option or just wanna buy from these 3 phone's which r w810, w610, n w710 ... well plz help me out ,,, i want a proper n conclusive answer ...! the only flaw i can see in w610 is its keypad ... i don,t think its comfortable if u compare it with the other two ... ! if there is any other plz let me know... ! thnak u

I was really disappointed by this phone, despite the fact i had it 4 birthday, replacing my good old K750i (possibly the BEST PHONE EVER). First the camera... no cover for the lens... I think i can skip that, I can be carefull not to scratch the lens maybe... I'll give it a shot, but OH NO, the pictures are really horrible, especially in the dark, u get some blue dots where it's supposed to be black (the K750i does a good job in the dark), and generally it's 50% chance to have a good photo(You can ask for photos made with my phone via e-mail). After the bad camera experience, maybe you'll want to listen to music, after all, this is a walkman (or not?). But the music volume it's veeeeeery disappointing, the left earphone had lower volume than the left one so i've been to service, and after a week or so, i get the same problem (A friend of mine has a W300i, and with his earphones, the music plays loud enough to actually hear it in the subway or in the bus). Music stops responding often, but I changed the orange software with the original Walkman software, and now this occurs less often, but still... So if you want to buy this phone, think twice before that cuz i have it since just one month and i really hate it and I'm trying to sell it for a K550i (i've heard it does good photos) or an samsung u600 (this one is quite expensive).

i recently bought this phone, i have a 512 mb card in it, i formatted it twice, but it's capacity is 467 mb not 512 mb! does anybody else has this problem? please reply. Thank you!

guys i just bought a w810i but the ringtone sound/or on playing songs sound is very very less compared to nokia, is there anything to improve it. this is inspite of increasing the volume to max

I am using this phone for 4 months. Everything is OK. Music and video quality are very good. The phone is also very durable. But there are some problems. The camera has no cover on it and so the lens is vulnerable to moisture and scratch. This is very irritating for me bcos even lower price SE phones(like W700 or K series)have covers.

yes, no, i dunno! but first you've got to install ur disc2phone installer. then WAHLA! you can now transfer ur files ; mp3, pics, themes, vids from pc to cp n vice versa! enjoy!
