I had this phone for nearly a year now after having the W800i and con only say that overall I certainly recommend getting one. The picture quality is awesome as is the sound quality. Great thing too is the navigation key, no more joystick problems as on the W800! Best thing about this phone is battery life, I can go with one charge for about a week! To answer some frequently posted questions, no the phone doesn't have symbian and there isn't really a need for it either. Keypad is very ergonomic, compare it to the micro buttons on the W880 and you'll see what I mean. I have no problems with the colour fading. Hope this opinion helps some of you to decide.

Hi everyone..
I`ve been comparing phones for quite a while now and it seems that W810 is one of the best phones on the market..
the only thing I´m worried about ar they keypad is very small.. others wrote, that after a time they have problems pushing the buttons... does anyone have the same problem??
does anyone have a problem with the speakers?? some where complaining that they are a bit quiet?!
can anyone tell me what software i should download, when i get the phone??

i got this fone and the camera is sooooooooooooooooooooooo AMAZING..comparing a 1.3MP camera to the W810i's 2MP..man..its so great..the camera..the sound..it's worth it..i suggest everyone to buy this fone..if you have doubts..throw them away..this fone is GREAT..

everything's ok with this phone except for the navigation keys. IT FADES so fast! Well it depends on the user's skin acidity. I just noticed that the silver navigation key of my phone just turned white after two months so as my shortcut and walkman buttons.

Great performance, appalling ergonomics. The side buttons in the main controls are far too easy to trigger, and the keys themselves are very small; you have to work them with your fingernails. Like I said, love how it works, hate how you work it.
I've upgraded to 2Mb so the Walkman function is more useful. Good photos and useful accessories. Headphones are very good. Noticing a few scratches on the screen despite being quite careful with it.
Came from a flip-phone and maybe that's my style. But I like Sony stuff, and the 810i has the features I wanted.

to hamza......man dnt ever update ur walkman firmware..it decreased my sound quality..and the mega bass ha goneeeee with the winf and after searching on the web i found tht its a global problem with no solve...if u faced anything try to restart it but dnt update it ...trust me..the last firm ware is r4ea031....and the best one is the first one of the factory release

Just be ready with WSOD and some cash to fix it.. thats what i experienced in all Walkman phones other than that its ok..

I'm not too interested in clicking photos with a mobile phone. Having said that, which phone would be a better option: W810i or K800i?
Also, how's the performance of the W810i with a 2GB memory card?

If i buy any Mobile, then i buy this mobile only. I feel lookwise, Size and feature(in this pricingig range)it is much better than any mobile.

After careful and some meticulous research i have come down to 2 phones...5500 sport and this one...the comparison is this website doesnt help much...as both are equally good...
55oo is cool...symbian OS and motion sensitivity and all...but there are too many complaints...
this phone looks perfect...not many complaints...but i still hv to ask...are there any basic probs with the phone....mail me if u can...

i find that sony ericsson are one of the best phones except their rediation is not really up to standard in Trinidad and Tobago
