as i am using 630 i wna change to w810 but i want a good phone with excellent sond ,can somebody sugest me if not w810 and also plz tell me whether the sound is even less than 6630 plz guys let me knw

hey,,, i bought the 810i a month ago.. but before three days.. i mysteriously found vapours formed inside my mobile. when i contacted the customer care, they told me that the mobile was dipped in water.. i'm very sure that even by mistake water never spilled on my mobile.. did anyone of u experience similar problems... plz help me out.. the customer care is not willing to take responsiblity.. please lemme know the email address of the concerned persons to whom these complaints should be directed.. thanx in advance...

Websurfing is fine and connection is good but the screen is small so that's a drawback.

I have a Sandisk 4gb MS it works great. Anyway you will have to be patient every time the phone starts up.

He is excellent to be able to have videos in MPGE4, but somebody can say to me so that the reproduction is slow, with one memory of 1Gb will be equal?

4GB is working for me altough many people say its not. It slows the phone a bit down, but its not too bad...

Hello All!
I just want to know a couple of things regarding W-810.
a) How has been the Web-Surfing experience at W-810? I have used the Internet at different NOKIA phones such as 6230i, 3230, and N-70;also SAMSUNG X-700.
There it was great!
But how is the Interent experience at W-810? Can we download/use Opera?
b) Is this possible to make our Images/Videos folder(s) password protected; on the lines of Samsung X-700.
I shall be glad if I get the response at the soonest...in detail.

Pablo...the program you are looking for is called DRM Packager....download this and use it to transform your mp3s into ringtones capable of playing on your phone!

Well, I used to have a Nokia 6230i that worked wonders and never, even at least once, shut down automatically.
So I was just surprised that a different brand would have a defect such as this...

hi dimmick ...wortless phone?! hmm you must be really upset.:( now about youir problem : you have to take back the phone to the dealer ..it requires a software update ..theat's the only problem ...should be really

It sounds like you got a defective item. No matter what the brand is or how good their reputations are, shutting off by itself or the battery drained all the way down after a full charge is not acceptable. I would go through your carrier for a warranty exchange of the phone or if you bought this phone through a store, you can probably contact Sony. I've been using cell phones ever for around 7 years and tried a lot of brands, I've never experienced the things you just mention with any brand, and the Sony phone that I owned three years ago is great and I am actually still using the phone as a backup.

I posted this about a week ago, and no one replied...
It just shows how "helpful" this so-called forum is...
Sony let me down with this one...
I'm quite surprised with this phone. Everything works fine, but it often "shuts-down automatically."
I don't know why or for what reason, but it turns off, then I have to turn it back on again. Sometimes, the screen even goes blank and the battery bar says it's empty when i have just fully charged it.
If this forum is as efficient as they all say...
Will somebody please explain to me why this is happening and how I can repair it?
If someone can answer and repair this problem from this forum, then it would be great...
But if not...no one ever patronize Sony Ericsson phones, especially this worthless model...

in my opinion i think you should get the W810i of the K800.....sony's joysticks on phones tend to break easily or after a certain period of time from what i have heard and experienced myself

pablo to answer your question....there is a way of having mp3s as ringtones but there is a special program that you need to use to convert the mp3s to a special kind of file so that it will play as a ringtone
