I got this phone early this year and it surpassed my expectations. It never slows down when i open a file or play music. I can even do it all at the same time. I recently dropped my phone from arms height (im 6 ft.tall) and it bounced 3 times from a hard and pebbly cement floor.I cringed from seeing it slowly bounce off the ground and expected heavy damage but to my surprise as i examined it closely, i did not see a single scratch nor dent on my phone. talk about quality! it just shutdown due to the impact but everything else is working great!as if nothing happened. awesome phone.highly recommended!

hey i bought this phone and it just extra ordinary in each and every aspect and as far as the battery is concerned i charged it for around 8-9 hrs and it's workink well but hey max can you tell me how to download themes from topsony .com

to set mp3 as ringtone and message alert tone you must update your phone with SONY ERICSSON UPDATE SERVICE (www.sonyericsson.com) in the support section
im using a mp3 as my message alert tone and full lenght mp3 as my ringtone
this phone is super HOT i didn't expect that it much cooler than a nokia n73 for me n73 only beats w810 because its a symbian and has a 3.2mp camera

w810i, problems
1) camera not great as k750i, the pictures are blurred when tey are transferred to pc, it looks great in the w810i screen.
2) music player has got great review when the phone was first released ie with the initial firmware, but after that, the hiss sound, volume drop, digital distortion has all started, they still can't find a way to stop the hiss sound, the latest firmware R4EA031 sucks. No bass in sound.
3) problems while handling more than two calls at a time.

Could someone please explain to me how to set a mp3 to a ringtone?
I read that you need to make it 128kbps or less, I've converted all of my songs to 128kbps but none of them are working.

i am a 13yrs boy.My father gifted me a W810.Infact i wanted N90 bec it has gud optics n my father has got a N93i n my mom a N73 so i wanted a nokia.Wen i got it , i was not 2 excited n thougt that it could satisfy me 4 its price bt....... wen i used it. Ooh, iwas stunned, its mp3 player is same as my ipod n the camera was somewat better than the N73 n N90.So i request anyone, dont luk at its price, its the KING of all mobiles.

Hi, I Have Just Recently Bought A W810i And When I Put My o2 Sim Card In It, It Says Inactive Sim I Have Tryed My Mates T-Mobile Sim In It And It Has Workded Can Any One Help Me With This Problem Please, And Also At The Top Of The Screen There Is Like A Phone Simble With A Cross Threw It. Can Anyone Tell Me What That Is For Aswell Thank You Very Much..
