got problem with my se810i. i cant instal any java apps. instantly get msg- operation failed please help!!!!!

it is a great phone ..but like some of you mentioned this phone ,like other se , has a problem --wsod-- it appears suddenly and by noreason--the screen goes white and the phone doesn't turn on anymore.this is a common problem with se products..it seem to be a firmware /software problem..it can be fixed by upgrading..but it requires service ..but still the best phone at this price

ive seen some posts about wsod (white screen of death).. this problem is a real one ..and it does appear to sony ericsson models
(w300, w550,k750i ,w900..and yes w810i) but this is caused in 99% of time due to an old firmware and it is can be solved (in service) by updating the firmware--flashing, etc...so if it does/when it does ..don't panic ..every problem has a solution :)

this phone is one of the best ive ever had but it gets boring when i have nothing to do.. and i take this phone and im used to everything so its annoying to keep it inside my pocket

yes..it's better than the w300 ..better camera better sound ...battery life could be improved :)

I brought this phone in Dec 2006, In Jan 2007 within a month the handfree started giving problem, since it was under warranty, service centre agreed for a replacemnet in a month, but so far...now its march end.. they have not given new replacement. whenver i call them they r telling it will take a week...dont know when i will get it.....there service is very poor....

'till now i didn't used the w900 ..so..ill say w810i is the best :)...but w900 could be better

thanks a lot... got convinced with ur advice.. so as of now no doubts... n i think w810i is best when compared to rest of the W series phones in SE, am i right??
