is it message alert type included in Profile (you can create for each profile different message alert type and when switching profiles the message alert is automaticaly switch according to profile) or when you change profiles (for example from standard to outdoors) you have to extra change the message alert type?

I got this phone.. it's a reall disappointment.. there is a major HISSING SOUND (search google u will get 10000000 results on this issue). Battery life is not good and image quality is really grainy indoors or during the night (not enough light). I feel like i got gyped by sony.. they won't even fix the hissing sound when playing music.. i used to love sony... now i hate sony ..

What is the proper way of disconnecting the W810 from your computer via USB cable?
Do I exit all programs on the PC first and it automatically returns to the phone menu on the phone itself?
Or do I close all the programs on the computer and just pull the USB out, even if it says on the phone that the device is connected?
Please answer this crucial question as I may be doing something wrong without knowing it is ruining my phone...

yes gary i did...first it was great but then it hanged many times and some get white flashing screen,,,but it stoped when i updated the software..but the mega bass function stoped or became weak..and its not happned just to me..i searched the web and found all the ppl face tht..but its realy a great fone with great cam and mp3 player and radio ...

hii deep...just connetct the cable to ur pc..itll be recognized automatically..as a new drive then choose phone card...then install ur songs in folder called mp3 or multimedia then audio...but i prefer mp3 folder...enjoy ur time:)

i am a proud owner of this piece it superb and very nice looking to However i have one query i use two phones when i recieve a diverted call on my 810i it only flashes in the beginning that it is diverted call therafter there is no way of knowing that it is diverted call or not until offcourse u can speak to the caller what no he has dialled!!!!!! nokia is better because it does flashes in the beginning and there is the symbol >>>after the no that is calling us is diverted no se should do something abt this what do u ppl say

"Sony is also working on an 8GB memory stick that will work on the W810i." for real?!?! if this is the case, then they are killing their own w950i.. cuz it doesnt have a card slot.

It CAN support MS Duo Pro upto 4GB. Sony is also working on an 8GB memory stick that will work on the W810i.

Question, it says here in gsm arena that it can support up to 2gig of mem stick. but in www.wikipedia.com they say it can support up to 4gig. which is true?
