Hi All,
Could you please help me... I'm just wondering if SEW810i could handle a bigger memory stick? Perhaps 1GB... What may be the consequences if I do so... Will it get slower?

superb bass sound on headphone, excellent camera with auto-focus, macro-mode, flash,self-time picture taking, most user-friendly menu ever, especially for texter, could create favorite menu shortcut, huge and expandable memory, I couldn't ask for more.

Yes, it can use a 4 GB stick. It will use as big as you can find. I went to a big Sony Ericsson rally and this is what they told me

how do i set the time on the phone as screesavers...the previous se phones could do that....everytime when wer not using the phone the whole screen goes blank.

Stephanie, as there is no ringtone for caller groups, the only thing i can suggest for group rings is to assign the same ring to each member of that group individually. Tried that on mine, and it works fine. Hope thats helps. Cheers Luv.

U can off the shutter sound directly 4m the camera settings options...it has a option of shttuing the sound..........
U can also change the cover of every SE fone....but its very costly compared to nokia...if u get the original one
Regardin the sound.....the speaker sound is loudest for k750i after w550i n then comes w810i n others...even ringtones r not that louder for w810i
SE plzzzzz dont degrade the quality of ur fones.......plzzzz

Hi all,
Can upgrade my contract now but CANNOT decide which phone to take!!! It's between SEW810 and SamsungD900/Z400. I like that it has a radio and all music options coz muuuzic is my life!! Samsung doesn't have a radio but D900 has 3mp camera and SE 2mp. How is the quality of photos on the SEw810?

Can somebody help me with my question?
I created caller groups (hope you understand what I mean, I'm not from the States). Now I want to give every call group (like family, friends) different ringtones. But I can't find out how to do this! Does somebody know how to do this? Thanks.

to Swapy..:
thats my 2nd one after k750i but my fone freezes when sending (tracks) to other fones withouht pairing.. other thing i can't do any modifications to my playlist except removing track or adding ones i can't change the sort of order of tracks (move songs) in the ready made playlist i have to create a new one with the new order of songs..i can't belive how a walkman topend fone like this don't modify playlist otherwise i want every1 to know that i sold a N90 fone to get that one...for the following reasons..:
1) Better camera the best 2mpixel i've ever seen
2) Amazing sound experience the only fone exceeds it, is the N91 but its size & weight are shit!
3) the best formula CAM,SOUND and SIZE
i agree with u it lacks symbian software but it still beats any fone ...
4) i think this one is better than 790i i c those fones somehow BIG, not good looking as 810i , Memory cards still hard to find , CAN't force the flash to light during pics its only AUtomated
5) i don't know for how long we gonna run after megapixels!! every day they add a megapixel i belive by the 1st quarter of 2007 a 7.2megapixel fone will arrive!! its a policy i belive
i am really staisfied with 810i and with its 2 megapixel cam. i need no more pixels thats enough. although what i said and mensioned its the best in its category

I enjoyed this mobile phone so much, to me it's perfect! In this I can listen to my music, make my video, and almost everything I wanna do in a mobile phone! If you haven't got one, you should, you're wasting time, money, your pacience with another one!!!

Get an UNBRANDED W810i, and you can turn off the shutter sound when snapping pictures simply by going into silent mode.
Or you can get a BRANDED W810i and complain about not being able to turn off the shutter sound, cuz I believe some service providers disable silent shutter in silent mode.
Your choice.
And to anyone who's still wondering whether or not to get this phone, just get it. It really is an awesome phone. I LOVE MINE.
