Hi friends i bought the W810i some few days from a friend and i found the icons to be vodafone icons. I checked the firmware and i saw that it was R4CE012. HOW CAN I GET THE R4EA031 firmware my W810i friends.

I am using this phone for past 3 yrs. Amazing phone ever produced by Sonyericssion. Solid piece ...no problem till now...Additionally i put some flash themes in to it and it rocks man.....

this telephone is fantastic. i have mine for 5 years now and it still works perfectly, the only thing i had to replace were the headphones. if i could, i would totally buy this phone again

I Have Bought From 4 Years Ago I bought it almost it was in the markets & now I can tell everyone This Phone is best phone ever it is the best tell now for me.
it have every thing and it is strong

i have one b4 i gave it..then i buy a samsung touch when i compare the sound and picture of my w810 b4..w810 is the best even though its old.. picture the best than any other phone... what i did is i sell my new phone now i bought w810i secondhand now im satisfied again. tnx sony ericsson

What a coincidence,I also bought my phone 3 years & 1 month ago:-) It was cheap enough at that time.I absolutely agree with the points you made,Aki!
Moreover,I wanna buy Wave as well & hopefully its price will drop by Christmas:-)

i have been using this phone for almost 4 and a half years.But till the date it functions like a newly bought one.It has fallen many times and once it fell into a cup of tea and it functions perfectly.I am so happy and satisfied with my se w810i.

Really good phone and first UK phone I had that had Polish and Spannish T9 dictionary options. Old skool now, but was a very, very goodphone in its day.

phone is with me for almost 3 years now.
i bought this phone when it was almost phased out, therefore its price already dropped significantly. however it had all the extra features i wanted then - fm, superb music player, flashlight, organizer. back then this unit was the lowest-priced among the models that have all those features. in addition, this phone is rock steady. dropped numerous times without getting damaged.
my only complain with this phone is that it has no 3.5mm jack at the phone itself. thus, when the converter that came along with it broke, i had to buy one.
anyway, now i am demanding 3 new features for a phone: wifi, touchscreen, divx/xvid player that can play high resolution and of course, should not be buggy. the cheapest i have seen for this is samsung jet, but this is totally phased out. i am now saving for samsung wave.
too bad sony ericson does not support divx.

it's really a great phone but it's has a problem in the camera and also the head phone slot.except these two problem the phone r really amazing,great to use.......

An amazing phone which i owned for over 5 years. The only issue is that the technology has moved on and it is now slightly outdated. None the less its durable, light, easy to use and had a great battery life. Hmmm.... might buy another one....

I was using w810i for alost 3years now. now am changing to sony ericsson zylo. My question is how to transfer the messages in my inbox to the new phone. Or is there a way to save the message in my w810i to the computer.

Very reliable and smart phone. i love the flashlight feature...the mp3 where you can create playlist. PLUS the bluetooth and the infrared features that allows me to transfer files and get videos/pictures from other phones. this phone is a winner!

What i must do when i go to the internate it tells me the same story ACCESS DENIED until now. I call mtn lot of tym they sent me settings but nothing!

The best phone especially for music and the quality of output in music. There are speakers attached and gives good production. The head phones are manufactured just right for my ears where the head phone speakers do not fall out as in other brands. I am enjoying it every moment.
