this phone really looks good and has some great features also...
Guys plz help me out whether i should go for W800 or w810i im confused...
I heard that w810i is expensive than w800....
Buying w810i is worth ???????

w810i is better than 3250 in sound,camera,speed and performance.you will see if you fully browse and i compare it to my friends 3250.trust me w810i is better than 3250 go for it you will love the walkamn features..

This model is my first Sony-E and its a great device.Camera pictures is excellent.One problem is a bit of distortion on the speaker when its full volume with a song with high bass but I'll live with that.Prefer the headphone.Cannot find any fault.

hey can any1 help me?i've planed 2 buy a nokia 3250 cuz i heard from evry1 who used it n dey tell me dat da sound quality is rly2 kewl, very clear, n very loud, n dey also tell me dat 3250 phone hav a 'sound check' 4 a better xperience!but at da same time i've also heard dat w810 hav a gud sound quality too!so can any1 tell me honestly...which 1 iz da bez choice!i mean which phone hav a better sound quality?plz giv me da answer as fast as possible!

i solved this problem by formatting memory card and now this phone works great and everything is perfect and great.

i think the fone can support 2 gb widout any problem but i think supports 4 gb there it can get slow.

(I've heard from a few people that Sony-ericsson phones are plagued with reception problems and have been recommended to get a motorola. Anyone find that their w810i gets bad reception or worse than other phones on the same network?)
What do the nokia fan boys want????????????????????????????There is no problem wid sony ericsson but these nokia fans are letting down the fone anywayz if any nokia fan says anything else i will disgrace the nokia opinions. :P

ur camera problem seems to be the same as mine (refer to my earlier opnion posted a few days ago)
in my case the phone went back to the service center on the first day itself :(
still waitin for a replacement... they said it might take atleast 15-20 days!

Can someone help me with my alarm clock on my w810, the volume for the alarm is so low, it fails as an alarm =P, otherwise my ringtone volume is the same, i tried playing around with the settings, but i have no success in fixing this problem =\

Realy good phone i bought it only 6 hours and 12 minutes ago but my sisters phone (750i) seems to be a bit faster and so does the camera and the joystick is also giving me some problems but either than that its a googd phone

Well I have this phone for a month now and I think its time for a quick review.
It got everything I was looking for and I think every possible thing a phone for that price can have, I was not even Ericsson fan, but that crappy VGA camera of the Nokia made me change my mind.
Anyway theres the 3.0MP camera for the cyber shot series that is cool, but this one rocks too.
I wouldnt have any complain but in a review on youtube I found that you can change your display Icons with the Themes, and I cant do that on my phone.. and found some users that cant either so theres something wrong there.
PROS:All things you can fit in a cell right now.
-BT
-Great Camera
-great screen
-mp3 player
CONS:
-File transfer from PC to Phone its a bit
slow
-No lens cover
-And no front vga camera for video conf
I'll stick to this walkman series cause I'm really impress with this phone, maybe change to the cyber-shot laters, but definitely keep with Sony Ericsson

Dam good Phone! I am using the phone from past 15 days. There is no problem with the reception. The screen quality is superb and the walkman rocks with its audio quality ! But as usual the ring tone volume is low. i think SE mainly put their brain to quality not the quantity !

Mate, are you talking about the W810 or the W800? Cuz this is the W810 opinion forum lol.
But to answer your question, i think the W800 has better sound quality and louder than the K700.
BUT... The W810 beats them both in sound quality and loudness. Hope that helps your dilemma! :)

I bought this phone just yesterday
it's a great phone and everything is good
but since 3 hours ago the camera doesn't save the taken pictures
after taking phot ((saving)) appears on the screen but then the photo doesn't save.
i tried both the phone memory and cart but it doesn't save

W810i supports GPRS networks and EDGE Networks. Max connection rates GPRS can provide is 48 kbps and that by EDGE is around 235 kbps. But the connection speed varies with service providers, signal strength etc.
If GPRS service is available and is active for your sim card, the ariel ( which shows the signal strength ) is replaced by 'G'and 'E' for active EDGE network.
Although EDGE is available, the service provider may or maynot provide it in the highest bandwidth (230kbps). It can vary. Here in our place i heard that they provide us a bandwidth of 110 kbps.
Unfortunately i don't have EDGE network in our location though GPRS is active. As far as my experience, i had poor net connection through GPRS. It's the case in my home, where the signal strength is low, i can say poor.In my college i experenced pretty fast connection where the signal strength is high (full).
So, if your service provider, provides GPRS/EDGE, and you have a good signal strength in your area, you can experience a good net connection through your mobile.
