@Look Chat,hey other firmware will give some errors if you master reset it,but thats what i heard on some opinion on this phone.if you want to master reset the phone go to setting then general tab then master reset it then do if you like to.
to others this phone is great i have this phone for a week the,the sound quality is superb,but im worried about the lens of this phone because there is no cover.
if you take a photo you will see that you are holding a digital camera.
so to others i recommend this to others trust me this phone is great if you use this phone you will find the difference about the k750i and w800i.

I need some help ERGENTLY! I read that W810 can read MPEG-4 encryption? If so, the quality is good? I need an answer from somebody that allready owne's one.

how to master reset, goto settings and select master reset down to the last option default code for this is (4) zeroes.. all users data will be deleted...

hi guys, just got my w810i today, upgrade from k700.
Just wondering if any of your w810i phone have "krkk" sound when you press the pads?
(especially pads ranging from 1 to 7, just above the memory card section. its just soo annnoooyyyiiingggg.
i guess something is wrong with my phone as if its been dropped, double checked with the seller said it's brand new
btw, i bought this from online auction (I assume you know where it is.)
Comments? suggestions?

Yeah i've tried downloading about 3 other themes and same thing... only the background and lettering changes, icons stay the same.
guess i should have ordered from O2 not Orange.
but if anyone finds a way to help me out i would appreciate it greatly.

W810 much-much better than 6280 i think (sorry nokia lovers, face the truth!)

Great phone with a litle bit disadvantage, the schedule CAN NOT REPEAT for a week, two weeks, a month, oar a year. Just copy to another day.
the schedule alarm sound CAN NOT change.
by the way....SE W810 is the best phone++ in the universe!, I love it!!!

I went to Macau last week, there's a store selling the most updated phones in the cheapest prices in the whole China/Macau/Hk area. The Sonyericsson W810i only costs 2580 MOP(Macau Money)which is roughly $325 USD. You can save money ranging from $50USD to $100.

My phone is branded to 02 (Well has an O2 theme) and my menu changes. Have you tried downloading some other themes and testing them?

i know that a lot of the themes use the same icons and that Equalizer has a totally different type of menu system because ive seen them but for some reason my icons in the main menu dont change.
My icons stay the same with all the themes. the only things that change are the background and lettering color.
I really love the Equalizer and Orbit thmemes because of the look of the main menu icons but mine just don't change.
I've heard because that only comes with unbranded phones but that just cant be true.
can anyone help me change the main menu icons?

are you on t-mobile i have the sdame problem with my phone sometimes? if you turn your phone on then off it should work. phone your network provider and tell them and they should send you out a new sim card. and that should work.
