@Raquel, mladen & others...back to video details on the SE W810...if a 512MB SD card is used, I have managed to (after shrinking, using Xilisoft 3GP video convertor) input a full feature widescreen movie, apart other plenty of ringtones, themes & screensavers. These were the settings of the movie: Size 176x144, ACC 32,00khz, 15fps, Crop & Pad (Top & Bottom 30 each), Total time 2'06", Size used on SD card only 216MB. Now all I can check is, if the battery can take the complete full credit movie! :o) For anybody's curiosity, the movie is 'Van Helsing', lol...good idea if I watch this underground or on Halloween Day, :o) ...time to switch off the lights and let the camera (phone) roll! Perfect! Boo!

Had this phone for about 2 weeks now here in Florida, Network: Cingular.
I've had no problems with calling or the light. My phone is s/w version R4CK003.
I had a little time figured out most of the features and they work well. The speaker sounds loud enough in playback or calls. The phone does not go into handsfree when you plug in the headset, you have to select it and then you should see two hansfree/headset icons on the screen. My question on the supplied earbud headphones. They sound good but the length of the wires and where they split have me confused. The length of the single wire from the 3.5mm jack to the wire split is like 11cm. But after the split the Left earbud wire is another ~11cm and the Right side is almost 25-30cm. The wire split is not in the middle or adjustable so the whole thing hangs weird. pulls more on the short Left because the weight of the mic/jack too hanging from that side. Do I have correct cord or am I using it wrong, tried wrapping the excess behing my neck but that felt funny too...
Well I do have the option of using others I already own, but just wondering what the deal was with these...

pls i can't just store any private info/data on my phone w810i. the code memo - is just a mess compared to nokia 6600 wallet - for storing data.
anytime i try to store info, it request for "passcode" than "new code" - i dont just understand. pls can someone put me thru. thanks alot guys! shenny

I'm from India ,using w810i for 1month and never had a call drop. My brother is hving N91 and i bet w810's musicplay back is much better than that. So is its camera clarity. I refer it to evry music lover who want heart thumging music.

W 810i will be available with Cingular in third quarter of '06. It is available in SE US site for $499.

I think it is available in the U.S. , i mean its already available in Canada since last month.

the difference is just that this phone has edge I think, and im pretty sure that video recording is just based on how much space you have on ur memory card.

Well i mean in the end its a phone right... i think the biggest thing you can expect of it this is just a great mp3 player, alot of removable storage which is good if you plan on throwing some movies onto it.
So like in my case I purchased this and sold my ipod cause theres really no point in having both. Im quite pleased with the phone, only had it for about a week but I do enjoy the features and I havent had anything wrong occur as of yet.

Hey!!! I'm really not sure bout this phone, i love music and i feel its the perfect phone for me, but it is quite expensive and i will have to pay it myself, and im not sure if its worth every pennie..I just dont want to buy it and b disappointed
Can someone be honest with me and tell me the good and bad things bout this phone, so dat if i do buy it i have no suprises

I got the w810 four weeks ago. I live in Mexico City were is very difficult to get a full 5 bars reception because of crowded building areas and geography, and I have never had a dropped call; not even when I called from the underground train. I think dropped calls have to be a carrier problem. Of course, if you are look for bad thing to complain about, any phone has them. I think this is the kind of product you can just love or hate at all because it is expensive and you have to feel it worth every penny. The pictures quality is really good (for a 2.0 mega pixels camera), MP3 player features are all you need to take your music on the go, it has a good FM radio, sound quality is great and best of all, and more important, it has every feature any other good phone has to keep you communicated. But there are some many other good options on the market.

i received the phone last week and to be honest i'm not overly impressed. i've gone from the samsung d600, ok the sony has more features but i had a sony ericcson last year and its not really any different apart from the fact that u can listen to your tunes on it. i'm sending mine back to the service provider and going for a nokia! i rally don't like the keys on the sony, feels like a kids play phone when ur texting! speaker quality not brilliant when ur listening to videos and the music it sometimes sounds quite distorted!

I have the w810 and Ive never had a dropped call? It might just depend on the service provider, Im currently using rogers as I live in Canada.

@JACK DAWSON - There are two settings to do with volume. First is ring tone volume in the ringtone section. The second is the master volume. To adjust the master volume play a ringtone and press the volume key on the top right side of the phone.
