I tried this phone for a few days and compared it with my current SE k750i. I think the k750i is still better.

No i don't know how to install jar files and as to the Symbian sis files THIS IS NOT A SYMBIAN PHONE.

In my case, Ive had no problems with the reception. Ringtone volume is also not a problem. If the phone is in your bag and you are in a crowded and noisy place, I suggest you set the volume to maximum and put it in vibrate mode.

Please someone with this phone tell me one thing what is the reception like????
I had the T610 a while ago and it put me off SE completly. My friends on the same network in the same location with Nokias could call but not me with my T610.
So I am tempted to buy this phone but the question is has the reception improved??
Please let me know...

Sonyericsson phones camera is still one of the best...
Compare apple with apple...and appreciates this W810i

Hey lhYB, dont u have anything better to do? U keep criticizing the w810 and praising the n91 here but in the n91 message board, you're worried about getting the n91.
I believe this was your message there:
"wondering now if i should CANCEL my order for this phone i dont want ANY problems with it hearing about freezing, errors, hard drive problems etc
what the hell is wrong with Nokia?
why cant their phones ever be error free?"
I havent checked out the n91. Im sure its nice. I hope its volume is loud enough for you. But its useless if it keeps freezing on you. I suggest you clean your ears first though, coz no matter how loud a phone's volume is, if your ear is dirty and blocked, you still wont get satisfied. So bug off.

@Chris - The W810i's handsfree dongle has a standard 3.5mm headphoen socket and so will take any headphones you wish to use. The supplied headphones are black and of the in ear sort.

@mj From a z600 to a w810i or possibly a n70. Again depends with your network as the n70 is a UMTS phone and the w810i is not. How i look at it as well are you going to utilize all the features on the n70? If so by all means go for it. Keep in mind the n70 is a smart phone as it supports symbian OS. As compared to the w810i its just a phone with lots of features on it. Either way i think either choice would make excellent phones. Only thing that would bug me about the n70 is its size. Then again we all cant have everything.

Friends,can you please help on this?
I own a K750i and i want to buy a new pair of headsets for it,
i was thinking to buy the W800's headset because they have better quality,
this is smth that i ve personally tested.
But when i saw th black brother of K750i the magnifisent W810, i thought i sould choose the W810's headset instead.
So happy owners of W810, please, if any of you ever tried the W810 headsets to a K750i can you please confirm the compatibility of those two mobiles for me??
Does it work on a K750i??
and what colour, the W810 headset has?

Guys! I need suggetion. Whether I should take a plastic clear case or a crystal clear case for my w810i. I feel crystal 'd be nicer but 'd be heavy so maybe I'd go for plastic. Honest suggetions please. HIghly appreciated. Cheers!

hey! i don know why you are complaining, this phone is a piece of artwork! it is perfect in every way possible. it also contains new functions, like the automatic phone and card memmory viewing. i just got it.............and it is freaking cool! nobody can beat this 2mega pixel....hehehehehe

W810i = 100 x 46 x 19.5 mm
Nokia N91 = 113.1 x 55.2 x 22 mm
The W810i fits nicely in the hand. The N91 doesn't even fit nicely in the pocket.
N91 camera = No autofocus and no flash
N91 = microdrive and not flash memory so to much jolting will cause the playback to freeze.
If you're going to be a Nokia fanboy they do so in the Nokia forums.

ipods are crap, unreliable junk
i want a phone that can do it all in one
why carry around sat nav units, mp3 players, PDA facilities etc etc etc
and for your info the Nokia N91 beats an ipod for sound quality and volume, Nokia are NOT bricks you inbred!
