Ken2.5, I've used all kinds of different phones, i sell them for a very large UK network. The K750i, when not faulty, is the best PHONE you can get. I'm not talking PDA's here, I mean proper phones. Something you can use to call, text, take the odd picture, is small to carry around with useful additional features, is easy to use and is aesthetically pleasing. I am not aware of a better handset at this present time which is available in the UK. Certainly no current samsung is better (I also have a Z320i and the call quality is not so good), nor motorola. When it comes to Nokia, yes the N70 is good, but it is HUGE with miniscule buttons, and symbian handsets are not the easiest to use, unless you work in the industry and are familiar with symbian.

This looks like its going to be a very good phone. as ong as it is not plagued by the freezing problems like the initial batch of K750i's, it'll be a market leader. Yes, its fairly similar to the K750i, but think about it, what is the main problem with the K750i? The joystick. it starts to fail after a while, as you get dust inside it. The joystick on the W810 is totally different, and looks like its a sealed unit, hence no more intermittent joystick faults. basically, look at this phone as a K750i with all of the problems fixed! Perfect phone!

This phone should've had slight improvements in the interface or something, its not really worth buying this over K750i. The K750 costs less, but gives more or less the same features. TO pay so much more for just EDGE and a 512 MB card (which you can buy), is weird.
I'm not sure, I might just get this one though, my brother has a K750, so I'd like something different. THe Motorola ROKR E2 is a better phone than this, but its camera sucks like hell. I'm so confused!!!

I too have expressed concern at the lack of a camera lens cover on this phone, and it is an obvious oversight given that is a fairly logical addition to any camera phone, so why remove it? However, I may have an answer. I have trawled many forums and in one obscure forum a view came up which make so much sense I thought I would share it here. The fact is that if a camera is to have optical zoom, it is necessary for the lens to move in and out. As such, maybe the W810 is the first trial of a deeply sunk lens to see how it performs in practice, with no lens cover, even though this particular model doesn't have zoom lens...

In regards to scamming, I'd like to raise some questions about hi-mobile.net (their ads are posted throughout this site).
I suppose it's not just hi-mobile, but it seems on ebay, the negative feedback always comes from users who have made very few transactions on ebay... newbies seem to be the ones these companies try to short-change and think they can get away with it because they have a generally good reputation.
Has anyone here purchased anything from hi-mobile? There was one complaint that hi-mobile sent the customer a "c" version of the phone instead of the "i" version which they thought they were getting. Nowhere on their site are they advertising "c" models.
You should also read the so-called user comments that people can post on each phone. I think it's pretty clear who's posting those comments.
I realize that an explanation can always be produced, but it's just something to think about.

It works really well !! Nice MP3 interface, good sound, awsome camera with a focus that make the difference and good ear-phones. The form factor is similar to the T600/T610, which I liked very much. A full features phone which is promising.

Man, w810 is way, way cooler! I was waiting for it to be launched too. But I will decide later whether I want to buy 800 or 810. I have no complain about 810 except that it doesn't have a cover for the camera lens! This could be the deciding factor that I will not buy 810 later! I am so dissapointed to find out that there is such a big draw back...!!!!

which do you all think is cheaper? w800 or w810? It seems w810 looks way cooler.
I'm going to buy w800 today and i'm not sure weather i'll regret for not waiting w810 to launch.
But if w810 is more expensive... maybe i'm out of budget to get w810.
which should i choose??

W810 is better than W800, who cares about memory, u get a 512 MB card with it! And yes, Joystick is removed... look at pics :)
