hari, 17 Sep 2009how to hear songs through bluetooth head set???????????Unfortunately, W810i doesn't support A2DP profile in it's bluetooth, so there is no way you can listen song with stereo bluetooth headset...

This phone is excellent i had it for 4 years everything still works,browser is great and you dont need an ipod when you have this phone the sound is excellent.

i have this phone for almost 3 years. for me this is the BEST, i mean the BEST phone for me. it's battery last for days. i've experience to use it for 5 straight days. the 2 MP camera is so good. also its keypad, signal, walkman is great.

smita, 07 Sep 2009i'm having one problem with this phone. i've bought this ph... moreFirst thing: clean connectors (the metallic contacts at the bottom of the phone) with a nail polish removal solution so that they are in gold color.
Second thing: try charging your phone with a friend's charger. If the error persists,
THIRD THING: [this usually solves most problems] flash it (put the phone software again - R4EA031) using XS++ program (because the official Sony Ericsson Update Service -SEUS- will tell you that "you have the latest software and no update is needed"-BIG help :P ).
Download XS++, tutorials & guides on http://forums.se-nse.net
For firmware (phone software), go to: http://se-life.ru/index.php?name=FW&page=fw-w&folder=W810/ and go for R4EA031_RED49 or R4EA031_RED50, depending on your phone.
There's >90% chance your problem will be solved by flashing your phone.

i'm having one problem with this phone. i've bought this phone 2 years ago and working good. but for last 2/3 weeks it shutdown itself and while charging shows a message "charging error". i bought new battery 4 month ago and it is good one (original SE battery). plz give me some advice asap. thank you

Keep holding the C button until New Hardware is recognized, drivers are assigned (~30 seconds-just the first time) and on the left side of XS++ window a lot of lines appear, the last being "Ready for operation!"
STEP 5: Back-up your GDFS! (settings, profiles etc) On the configuration area, click on GDFS and Backup. It's important to do so (in case something goes wrong and the phone doesn't start (never happened to me)). The back-up file is called W810_your-imei_GDFS_Backup.bin
*Steps 1 and 5 are needed only once; of course you can back-up any time you want
STEP 6: In the configuration area click FSX and the "Start FSX" button then wait ~1 minute and go to this folder: ifs/settings/acoustic after that drag and drop all the files from the folder you downloaded from the net (around 80 files) to the Enumerated files area. Wait around 5 minutes for the files to be uploaded, the program may freeze during this time.
STEP 7: !Click on "Shut down FSX"!
STEP 8: Detach cable. Start your phone

In reply to three people (mabie more) interested in how to change the sound driver: no big deal, in essence it's just a drag-n-drop. You'll need the usb cable from the package. Here's how:
STEP 1: On your PC you will need: a) program called XS++ b) drivers to connect the phone c) audio/camera drivers you want to put in your phone.
a) download XS++ from here: http://www.se-nse.net/gbrooks3/XS++/download.php
*Note: XS++ will create some folders where it is + a .txt log
b) download and install USB drivers from here: http://www.akshayy.com/sonyericsson/wp-content/uploads/SE_USB_Driver_installer.zip
c) Get sound drivers (called acoustics) for W810 from http://se-life.ru/index.php?name=FW&page=acoustic&folder=W810/
or go to se-nse forums http://forums.se-nse.net/index.php?showforum=110 (you'll need to register to be able to download, though)
STEP 2: Remove battery, card and SIM from phone. Reinsert battery, but don't turn it on.
STEP 3: Connect the usb cable to the PC but DON'T attach the phone yet.
STEP 4: Open XS++.exe and click on "Connect". Notice the instructions on the left in blue: >> Hold 'C' button on phone and connect phone NOW

I've had this phone for a while now, the BEST I've ever has. I've dropped it so many times and it's been in the washing machine once, but it's still in perfect working order. Absolutely amazing features. The music player's great, no need for an iPod!
I wanna sell it now, cos I've got a new phone, but I'm not sure how much to sell it for. Still got original box, headset, usb cable, 512mb memory card, charger, and software cd...all in good working order.
Any ideas on how much I should sell it for?
