gopi, 20 May 2009shall we use 4GB memory card for Sony Ericsson W810?You can use a 4GB memory card with no problem.
I use a 8GB M2 memory card with MSProDuo adapter.

I agree it's durable and that you can't find an autofocus camera on a mid-range phone today, except for SE K550, which produces in my opinion less detailed pictures than W810.
You should know that it's processor is of ~108-110MHz, while newer mid-range SE phones have twice or more CPU speed and also have Java multitasking, unlike W810...

this fone is one of the durable fones i've ever had and also it has almost complete features.
i would just like to ask those that have the same fone as mine what wud be the best substitute for this fone. I want it's durability in texting and appearance but i now want to upgrade my fone into sumthing where i can watch movies and has nice screen.
how about w705? but i am not sure about the durability of its keypad and the Cons of it being a slide up fone.
i am asking you this because i am thinking that we have the same taste in choosing fones. =)

having it since last 20 months, and i cant think of its replacement yet(read no match to it in the market on overal features), bcoz its working perfect ever since, it the BESTEST phone eva. those who use it know this

I have a w810i in 2006 about 3 months after i bought the phone it started to have some difficulties like when it get hit it would suddenly turn off also the camera button is very difficult after 3 months it didnt work good anymore. ZzzZzzZ

Hi all,
i've been using sony w810I past 2 yrs. no doubt it is an amazing stuff. But i hav a few minor problems if someone can help me.
(1) the battery initially used to support 3:20 hrs but of late supports only about 2:30 hrs talk time on airtel (popular) network. handset (bought again after loosing first one) is jus 1.3 yrs old.
(2) while searching contacts, name does not filter letter by letter. Ex: to search name 'BOND' - with no ther name beginning with 'BO' - the damn thing cant find out even aftr typind all 4 letters BOND! i always search next name and then go up to locate BOND; how disappointing.. The sony tech support said the handset is designed to filter only first 2 letters which is false. there are many other names where the search filters by 3rd or even fourth letter. the problem occurs only for a few names i cant understand why.
Yet, I jus cant like any other phone now after using 810i. 2 mp camera with auto focus is fantastic, 1000 conatct storage is great, torch light comes very handy, surfing spped is slow but tolerable.

terrifc device!! ive had mine for almost 2 years now n its amazin! it can do everything! the apps are great cuz the options available n connection settings can be edited to perfection...the camera is nice 2mp, the battery life is pretty good, ive used it for as long a day and i mean it took a pounding n it really holds up:D i put a 2gb mem card so im loving the music player even more!:D

Are you sure you're talking about W810? W810 HAS autofocus and the price should be relatively small, due to its "age" (launched in 2006). Back in 2006 it was sold as high-end at 375-400 Euros, now it's in the mid-range class and shouldn't go over 150 Euros.
*Although not many mid-range phones have autofocus camera... But I agree it's a bit slow. The CPU is to blame

hi...i have this phone for 2 years and it works very well...my only problem is that the walkman, ringtones are also played there. Can this phone not to play the ringtones when you use its walkman because it interrupts me when listening to music? and another questions is that..why it is not already sold in the market...is there any problem about this phone.
