aziz, I have the same problem, they play as songs instead of videos, its because the format of the video should be diferent, instead of mp4.
I also have a problem...
I don't know if its the phone or what, but I have had to change the battery 6 times. SIX!
The phone turns of by itself, it charging and its says 100%, I play only ONE song, and then its says that the battery is about to run out (always 4%) then I play another song and its says its around 20%, and I play a game and it returns to 100%.. With all batteries it's been the same and I'm tired of it. It also does not charge sometimes, I plug it and the thing that says "Optimized Charging" pops out 3 times in a row, and then its says its not charging anymore.
Help anyone?

hey guys i have w810i ..recently i had problem with video files (mp4). in which it plays only the sound not the video. Is there problem with the set or there is some reason for it???.

-u do not need to have this phone off when u transfer files, trust me i've done it for years.
-did u look around when buying a memory card for this phone? i got my 4 gig card for like 30 bucks.

This is one of the best SE phones that have been made. I've had 2 of these now, the first one i swapped for a W880i because i wanted a more stylish phone. I saw the error in my ways and gave the W880 to my sister and bought another W810 becuase its far superior.
Pro's :-
*Great speaker sound
*Good camera
*Camera flash
*Robust and reliable
*Walkman - Easy to use
*Good external layout (buttons ect)
*Good menu format - Very easy to use
*Supports up to 8gb memory card's with no lag
*Excellent battery life - Up to 4 days even when playing music/games ct
*Fast charge - Under an hour
*Good speed bluetooth
Cons :-
*Scratchs easily - DONT put in pocket with keys!
*I've had to buy 2 replacement cases because the clips keep breaking and case gets loose, however that could be down to the fact i have dropped it a fair few times from a good height and the phone still works...should be a pro really
*Small capacity for txt messages and missed calls
*Screen could be slightly bigger
*Vibration not very strong
Overall, this phone gets a 9/10 from me (falls short of the top score because A) Vibration not strong enough, and B)The txt and missed calls capacity)
I would definatly recommend this phone to anyone who acctually wants a phone because of its features rather than its looks - i think this phone is slightly dated now.

Hi there just want to ask u somthing friends i have trhis mobile since ayear and a half with no any problems but from 1 wek ago i was connecting it to the laptop as usual but when i disconnected it also as usual it restart but stopped to the logo of sonyericsson & turn off & the screen strat to shine ith white colour every 10 seconds but with no sense of turning on so what will be the problem is it its software???? thank u

John, 14 Dec 2008Hi Guys, se k618 and se w810i, which one is better ? i ... moreIf you need for speed just simply choose K618i (it's 3G - UMTS while W810i only 2.75G - EDGE), K618i also has a newer User Interface, but if you need music & camera quality, W810i sure is very superior.

been using this fone for 2 years will be using it for another year.its awesome!! great features and affordable price, and wat more it doesnt hang even if u put in a 4 gb card.the best is its got the basic features u want in a fone.great camera great sound especially with a headset.i jus love this fone!!!!!

basically a good phone with many features...
using it for 2+ years,no many problems
good points:
# easy play/pause button
# less weight+good looks+ handy i.e. good size
# 512mb included
# easy silent button
# good brower for internet
# good speed bluetooth
# nice fileman
# camera is gr8
# sound clarity and mega bass
# chances of hanging r just too low
# videodj ,remote control
# gr8 sond with headphones
# multimedia,java,email,ems,mms,sms,camera 2mp
........
bad ones:
* less sms memory just 200 even with 2 gb card
* micro stick pro duo card which is expensive
* not very great sound
* poor battery back up
* camera and java cnt be used simultaneously
* java applications run one at a moment
* screen length lesser
* only 30 call details and no call log like in nokia phones
* no birthday reminder in calender
* needs to be off to transfer data with pc
* no simultaneous charging with headphones use
* only 3gp video files
* unchangeable left menu and right menu buttons - fixed for calls and menu only
* charger easily gets damaged
...........
a recommended device overall due to lesser price and many features
