First of all, Walkman and CyberShot are just marketing brands. The "CyberShot" K550 produces lower quality pics than the older K750 (I tested!!)
Walkman and CyberShot phones have identical software (easy to demonstrate that), except for the media player and some camera features). I don't like this... X(
I wanted a software like SE because I'm familiar with it and it's good (seams more natural than Nokia's in my opinion). I used the search function on gsmarena.com and found Samsung E590, but it doesn't have nor adapter nor 3.5 mm jack on it.
I wanted to but a phone, but just I changed my mind to do nothing yet. So I still have a budget... One option was Nokia 6233, but it doesn't have autofocus and I really need that. And I guess 6233 has similar software (or even identical) to 6288 which cannot zoom in on pictures like a Sony Er (I need that 2)

Can anyone help me and give me an idea on what phone to buy? Here are my requirements:
-autofocus camera
-3.5 mm jack or adapter* (if not in the box, at least to buy)
-microSD slot card preferable (far cheaper than Sony cards)
-posibility to zoom in on pictures when viewing them
-no clamshell, no slider
-preferably with no joystick
-small price tag (here on GSM Arena the price tag is number 3 (100-150 euros))
*I don't want a "music phone" but I want to connect it to my stereo sound sistem (for better quality sound)
1) Nokia 6233 doesn't have autofocus :( but has the rest (except probably the zoom thing)..
2) SE W810 has it all except the card, which is expensive and the 512 Mb included is too small and the extra money for a new 2 Gb card excedes the price tag and my budget :P (and it cand view .txt files)
3) Samsung E590 has everything except the 3.5 mm posibility. But it comes with the bonus of viewing doc, xls, pdf files
So if the phone I'm looking for doesn't exist I'll be forced to buy a cheap digital camera + SD card, a cheap 1-2 Gb mp3 player (for the presence of the 3.5 mm jack) and a cheap phone (or keep my SE K700) :\

The W810i is the best phone I have used.period
I was doubtful about its user friendliness compared to Nokia....but it proved to to be even better!!
Awesome sound with those ear bud type phones...quality is better than the iPod...Mega Bass is the greatest thing ever...
If you enjoy music on this phone...You'll never want an iPod!!
I use a 512MB MS pro duo card and the phone is fast even if filled to the brim...
Camera is ideal for outdoor shots... dim scenes show up a lot of noise in the photos...
A lens cover would have been ideal..as it does get finger smudges on it...
I get 2 days of battery life with heavy calls and music..
PS:
I got my LCD screen replaced recently as some dead rows of pixels appeared on the screen.I got it replaced in 2 days.
The phone does not read any songs from the MS card when switched ON in Music mode...Not a good feature...
W810i is the best affordable walkman phone ever!!

Hello,this is really a good fone,instant download of games,delightful music,great sound,great radio,easy E.mails,MMs etc and user friendly.Only hic is that Sony ericson makes no difference beween Mautitius an Mauritania.So It is hard to use the world time available.
Recommend others to buy.

hii friends..i had used yhis one for about 6 months.i olved all the features of it.best cam,super qty music,and its browser speed etc...i had a tight attatch ment with thw same.for 2weeks back,i sold the same and bought a k810i cyber shot in order to have quality pics.but meanwhile i realised that its cam quality is same as w810i or sometimes below it.net speed is low and it irritated me. after 5 days of use i gave it back and got back my w810i .now i am totally satisfied withb it.i had such a attatch ment with that.i recommend all to buy this one..you will never regret.all the features at affordable price..i advice every w810 users to stick on to this phone even if any new models are comr out.this one would be an asset for you.very very very thankz soni erriccson for this cute mobile....
