by the way, u said that N73 always hanged.
that means u prefer w850 instead of n73? from the view of software stablility?
i heard others said N73 also quite slow in respone. izzit really?
bcoz i'm thinking to buy W850 OR N73.
since both phone are almost same price, can give me some comment on this 2 phone?
or any1 could.

What the W850 has aren't "extra features" it's just what they upgraded/threw in, in exchange for the lack of AF. Personally, I haven't tried out an SE 2.0 without AF, but my Nokia has had good pictures except the ones with close up. So if Macro takes care of that on the 850, then it's all good. If not and pictures within 80cm are crap, then this phone is 0.25% garbage to me.
What phones are all about are;
Music (walkman 2.0)
Camera (2.0MP with/without AF and with macro/flash)
Calls (850 or greater band with EDGE)
Design/Features (LED light)

I agreed with you that W850i is all about walkman phone... However the best sound system for walkman phone still the best W550i with 3 speakers...
Sony have the expertise on music and Ericsson are good on mobile technology, with the synergy of them thus created the ultimate Sony Ericsson today...

The answer is NO! I have been using my W850i for the past 4 mths plus with heavy usage... So far the sliding mechanism still very smooth and steady. I think your friend may have mistaken the nokia 6280 for W850i...
The quality and refinement of sony ericsson phones always very good and not to worry...
I have two lines and two phones with me all the time... I have the W850i and traded in my N73 for K800i cos the N73 always hanged...

i heard my friend said that the slider of W850 start to loose after 1-2 month, and also didnt auto-push up when sliding up due to loosing, got any1 facing this problem so far??

exactly people who are fussing about NO autofocus this W850i is all about the Walkman!!!! and video calls da vinci code stylee!!!!!

ok so u must have all the settings on your phone now...just make sure in everything like WAP Multimedia messaging MMS then everything should work WAP internet etc etc

I was wondering if this phone has A2DP or whatever that's called, another word for Stereo bluetooth, to be able to listen to music through my bluetooth. It doesn't specify but thats one of the functions i'm looking for the most. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks! :)

when i try to sign in through the brower it doesnt work i just get security errors.
i cant use the email reader as i dont know the windows live mail pop3 settings exc.
i cant use opara mini either as i cant get the correct settings

yes you can check e-mails and use windows live messanger on it to through WAP access point.

dude who needs autofocus in W850i when its got Walkman 2.0 player video calls 240+320 display >>> Autofocus is nothing compared to all those extra features that the W850i gives....

dude sorry my mistake N80 does NOT have autofocus what i ment was NO sliding phone have Autofocus do they ???..i have checked most the sliding phone D600 N80 N6280 N6270 NON of them have Autofocus...so people who complain about no autofocus ..get a lifee...sliding phone are made for fashion and busines ..not camera and multimedia..!!!

omg my memory slot doesnt read my memory stick, theres nothing rong with the stick cuz it works on my friends phone. nd ive only had this phone for 2mths.
