Is there any serious person here who do knows when it is coming out, cause first everybody said August, then it was September and I now I see people are talking about October, I respect the fact that SonyEricsson needs time to clear it from bugs and everything, but I hate it when people keep giving wrong information here.

6280 is a crap, the phone has a lot of bugs and it isnt a S60, worst life time, the slide mechanism is very bad, a crap when you compare 6280 to samsung sliders. 6288 relesed soon, but i see that is the same phone, it means that is a crap slider and 6288 has better battery and more memory with 512MB card bundled.
The unique advantage of 6280/6288 over W850 is video recording, no more.

This Phone is Crap compared to Nokia 6280 and its not worth waiting for so guys get realistic and get down to earth cos its not worth waiting for something which dosent exist if so crappy.....

Date given for this handset to be launched is 6th october. I have been waiting for this handset since April. I have two upgrades already due since June so i have been waiting a while as i know it would be worth waiting for. The handset is gonna be expensive from what i gather but quality is mint!

This is one of Sony's best made but too expensive for my wallet. I will get it when it's on sale (but this will never happen). Too bad for me!

...the navi-key integrated into the surface, making you think it retains touch pad technology, however this isn’t the case. The plastic used there is more flexible, so that you can press it and move through the menus in all possible directions...
