I bought this phone right after W810i, I'm a lot into music and "walkman" trend:) This phone satisfied me with everything and I have it for about 6 months now...also has SE very good contacts and calls management, 3G , 1GB card included...+ great headphones included(you can use other headph also- so, no limitation here) .Not slim like the new gen, maybe not recommended for girls:), but nevertheless a stylish, wellcrafted and solid phone

so those websites with that news on are clearly FAKING IT! its false news!
all SE fans will agree with me.
Nokia fans will deny it because they know theyv faked the news...

I got this phone 4 christmas it is the best phone i have ver had in my life and the first sony ericson i think im going to go strait to sony ericson when i buy a new phone

Nice phone. screen really blows my mind the first time I saw it, but of course theres better players now in the market... and again, its not a smartphone so very limited options for gadget freaks out there. But unlike Nokia models, the SE beauty doesnt wear on you, just stay away from pretty models and this one wont do you no wrong.

yeah it is cute reliable phone,, one of the toughest slider phone,, i really love this phone and having a problem since i bought it mine is 1yr 10 months,

I had this phone for 18 months and liked it a lot - very reliable and easy to use. Good size buttons/ok for texting and gaming. I did however have a problem when sliding the slider quicky it would turn itself off!
Other main drawback is that it is very chunky compared to later phones. Processor is not quite fast enough to watch movies on (picture lags sounds). I replaced mine with the w910 and in some ways this is better.

In my opinion this phone has been fab!
I have had it for a year and a half now and it was workin great untill about 2 weeks ago.!
It survived plenty of drops and compared to the new walkmans none of the buttons have broke.
It may be an old phone now but i still use it now even though i have the new sony erricson c902.
I thought this phone was good, this is why when my mum put my old one in the washing machine i replaced it with the same phone.
I reccomendthis phone for anyone who wants a simple but very handy and unbreakable 'genious'.
I would say the only problems with this phone is the orange walkman button which always gets in the way,it is always calling people who are on my call lists which leads to deletion of calls and the sim card has uneasy access.
Overall a great phone and 5 out of 5 *

All the thing bout w850 was superb except my phone will always slided up as the picture position.. Hate when it accidently closed bcoz the display problem.. by the way, already feel the hard challenge using this cute phone... Me no regret to have it as there was always "nothing perfect".. but SE!!! Pls do something kay...

the white colour things upside of the screen is light detector...when cover with fingers then the screen went dark..if dont cover then it become bright again..so fun..anyway,my sister's keypad cracked,flashlight&camera cannot be used..

well i bought it as soon as it was released, it worked just fine (though its navigation keypad cracked soon), but after about 15 months the navigation keys failed and afterwords the whole screen went black. gave it for repair but it to date its not working. i think it was a waste of money (mind you it was priced at around Rs. 20,000/- in india when it was launched), i must say that my impression about sony ericsson phones is not very positive.
