This is a great phone ever. This is the 24th month and I never experience any problems with this phone. I don't know how many times it fell but it is still going strong. The battery last long too

this is really an amazing phone in terms of the battery life and also the music player... however my only complaint is that although being a 2mp camphone, not having autofocus definitely affects the overall positive rating i can give for this phone. i use this and also an n73 from nokia.. so basically the w850i is my all-around mp3 player/call and text phone while the n73 i simply use for photos. one can't have best of both worlds... so it's a stable balance for me between having both the nokia and the sony ericsson. ;)

now i use w850i,i like it....but got two things w850 dun have is wifi and can't watch movie..is ok....that is ok for me.....like much cool man!!!!!but white colour is better than blank colour...hehe

sonyericsson Wseries by me is the best award winning mobile for the year,i here by advice the company to put more effort buy installing some applications to there pnones such as tv and in a situation of dstv mobile thanks........

were lucky having this phone,, sony stop producing this phone, not because its dated, but because of the complaints about the navypad,, unfortunately, even the new w580 again encounter problems about the keypads, more fragile than the w850,, in contrast w850 are more durable than the w580, so we are lucky having this one off phone, & because its been phased out, well im considering this a very limited edition lone of a kind phone,, take care of your w850s ")

This phone is great the music nice and loud and picture quility is good but i bought my self a w910i the w910i has better camera quility in daylight and better sound quility(but not louder) and have lots of knew thing that w850i doesnt have SE rocks!!!!!

Elcrocodilio, 28 May 2008Its true n73 is louder but its loudness has this noise or d... moreyeah!! i agree,, t also have my k700i for 3years!! and its glitchless,, by the way,, i accidentally drop that phone from the balcony of my cousins house,, that phone has a crystal case accesory, the case broke,, but my phone,, well NOT,, hard to believe but its true,, so now i have my w850,, i treasure it a lot, sony phones are very durable,, quality products,,, right??

i own a Golden White W850i, this phone has been with me for a year now. This phone is everything i ever wanted from a music / camera phone. Looks wise, it is very practical and fashionable at the same time. The only feature that would be lacking in this great phone would be the auto-focus which is present in W900i and W810i. I recently bought a W910i Hearty Red color, but unfortunately it failed in several areas. Its body paint fades due to repeated friction from my leather case, no photo light and lastly the body feels too light. As for me the W850i is THE LAST MOBILE PHONE that SONY ERICSSON created that can be classified as ONE OF THE BEST!

bim, 23 May 2008My W850i just died (WSOD) after a little more than a year, ... morehey bro, what are you doing with youre poor phones??? sony ericsson has a anti memory full options,, wheter youre using bluetooths or cables, it will cancel youre files when there is not enough memory left,, WSOD are common problems of nokia phones,, because they do not have the anti full memory programs,, etc im using my w850 for a year and i didnt experience any problems,, sony was known for their quality, DURABLE electronics,,
