its a very nice phone overall but after i added a 4gb memory card it crashed on me and no matter whom i take it to they cant repair it so after almost a year im phoneless but considering the new w960i with the hope of it being better with the 8gb internal memory

Hey W 850i lovers,
I searched lot and finally got this fone with a small dealer , but the only prob is that its not seal packed m hes not ready to give bill for it and the price is jus 11k Rupees , I tested the cam and the music no ways it could be a duplicate fone, but m stiill not convinced , if any one id slookin for a new w 850i can contact me..

I bought this phone about a year ago mainly for the MP3 player so I could use it at the gym and while walking. Unfortunately I only used it for a month as the more music I put on it the slower the mp3 program ran. Finally I got so frustrated that I gave up altogether and bought an mp3 player!
Otherwise, the phone has issues with turning itself off, calling the last person dialled (without my doing it!), and recieving calls without even ringing. Disappointing.

Seriously iv had this W850i since 2006 and its never given 1 Problem !! i mean iv even put a 4GB Memory card in it..still works wicked Thanks SONY!!!! i love you..
thanks Sony for this Wicked phone. it has kept me Entertained for 2 Years and will be for longer!

As you might know that w850 has Walkman version 2.0 while the w910 has walkman version 3.0 along with Shake features and high speed speakers. thus as far as I am concerned, so the da w910 is better for music lovers. But if u are intrested in camera too so should go for w850i. becoz w850's camera is far better than w910i. As I am using da gr8 w850i due to its sound quality along with nice camera & rich bettery life. So now its defends on your need/choice.

This fone rocks.. i've had it for the past 22 mtnhs. and i've neva experienced any problem. pity its time 4 me to upgrade--it was nice while it lasted-- i'll probably give it to my brother. he's a music manic- its got a lot of space.. Thank you sony!! nice one.

phone too thick. but it's OKAY. the features are okay too. just the display screen. not bright enough. and the keypads light color is soooo ugly. at night it looks yellowish. this phone comes with a 1 gb memory card.

It is a very good telephone, very cool to enjoy music.I love it. Here, I want to request you to advise me how to get your software for this phone. My childred lost software cd recently. Please advise.

the w850 is an awsome phone. if you like music and taking photos, and you have a chance to upgrade, go for it!!
