I'm gonna miss that camera, I had for 5 months, and now I have a w580, much slimmer, but the camera is almost the same like 850. Anyway, I love it the way it is..if u want to buy a phone with excellent camera, buy a SE, I guarentee that are the best camera phones on the market...I just love my w580, with all it's features and design. with the w850 i hadn't any problem at all, i sell it to a friend of mine, he dropped into mud, and the phone still works, hears and pics perfectly..it's just brilliant, nothing cracked, or coped...so i reccomend it with all my pleasure..:) also the w580..:):)

if you want to keep your W850i buy a cheap board or whatever is water damaged
but the best thing to do is
SELL it as Spares! and sell the acceessories such as Memory card,earphones,charger separatly and sell the phone as spares!
youl get alot money this way

My W850i has coped with rain falling on it ........but not 100% stable after its hanged alot of times water has been on it ..and my Navigation has CRACKED! yes it works but not all the time and it looks BAD!
and the keypad and back cover and Slider are making Creaking sounds..........
looks lik my W850i days are OVERRRRRRRR!
and i thought it would last forever..doesnt seem like it tho

this fone is built with in the same flatform with the k800 but the k800 have better screen
what a dumb from sony..ericsson!

As I said, my phone has been damaged. The service center guy is telling its board is damaged and it needs to be replaced. According to him, board costs near 70% of the phone cost. And after replacement, the stuff will not be covered for warrenty. What should I do with the phone? can anybody comment? How much it will be if I just want to buy a new phone without battery, memory card, charger and ear phones?

I bought one in August this year. during rain, few water drops had fallen on the phone and it got hanged. I removed the cell and handed over to Sony Ericson Authorised sevice center. After inspection they returned the phone saying it is water damage and is irrepairable and will not cover under warranty. Thus I lost INR 16000 just because I bought such a flimsy product from sony. Never again I repeat this mistake.

yes it cracked,but dats not as scary as the swithchin off. ive had it 4 a blissful 2 mths. the battery life is alien. my last one was k700 great but battery didnt cope wit prolonged music. w850 is highly recomended

What do you mean the slider is tough? The slider is kinda loose on mines. I got this phone about a month ago. The dpad already cracked. Not too happy about that. But i really love the music and the camera.

the slide is a little tough but get better relly great phone all and all.

great phone, had this this phone for about 1 year now and i noticed 4 months ago little crack in navigation key,great battery life, everything, one problem:crack in navigation key, called and sent phone back to me, they give me round around and never fixed the problem, instead flashed my filmware and send the phone noted has been fixed, they wanted 140.00 for fixing a defected part. please note i never dropped the phone i baby my phone, other wise great phone, i had 25 phones in 4 years, so i know !!!
