I love this phone.. brilliant memory.. ive got about 200 photo's on it and ALOT of music.. love the ear phones and everything else.. one tiny annoying thing which im willing to live with is when i slide it open it goes fuzzy for a sec then its ok but hey.. the pros are more than the cons!

Dear Hamid,
I m looking forward for w910 like u.But i really do not know much about it except the fact that we can change and shuffle songs by just shaking it so if u can please tell me more about w910i.I think it can play music according to our mood,but how?i don`t know.It looks great also.As u know i m a music lover nd great fan of walkman.This phone has attracted me because of its special walkman 3.0 player.I m not only attracted towards good sound but also towards goog looking media player.I really do`t like skins of walkman 2.0 nd i m really hoping that it may have good looking media player.I will own it after dec. because only one month is left for my exams.

juz had this fone for two weeks.best music fone ever.the megabass is wow!had w810 for six months n thot SE had run out of ideas having owned k750,w800.the v2 walkman is fantastic.2 bad camera doesnt hav AF but takes great shots in gud lighting.call reception typical of SE-outstanding!!!y not launch a 3.2mp walkman, SE?it wuld b da bomb!i recomend w850i for slide lovers.only dissapointment is that you cant end a call when you slide down.

about blutooth headsets.check this model: sony ericsson HBH-DS970.i have it and it is rivelless,realy good.the quality of music and talking on it is really wonderful and it is very expensive , in my country something like 90 $ .they play music continuesly for 4.5 hours,eventhogh sony ericsson claims that to be 6 hours.but again that is pretty good,buy them and get rid of all the wires serrounding you !
about another phone. if i were you i would wait for w910 to be in the market,would test and buy it.it is very classy and full of life,i love its style.but again i think no revelution will occur in its music play back quality,even though that thing is gonna have the music player version 3 which is more beautiful but not really more practical.
i used to have a w950 .
good point about that :
1: where ever you go peaple will look at you and admire your very lovly , pretty slim smart phone.put a black theme on its black body and turn it to an eye-catcher !
2: very nice visualisations for the music player,mybe not very important.but it certainly is a welcome thing in w950
3: very very short time of charging.just 40 minuts of charging is enough to make full.very amazing
4:sleek design.very nice to hold and to look at.unlike w850 this thing looks really better than its pictures and feels great in hands.
4: four giga byts of memory ! that is really good,isn't it?
5 : no camera !!!!! good,hah? i love that fact , because you don't have to worry about its bad quality!
weak areas :
1: very very very weak speakers ! very quiet,shameful.it's like a 2 months old baby crying.very disappointing
2:not user-friendly interface.you get lost in its menu most of the time .
3:touch screen not good,too small icons.you have to use the stylus all the time,not your fingers .
4: not so great battery life.
5: no manual setting for the equalisers,just the preset ones,not so respectable
all in all that's a good phone for you ricky.cause the quality of the sound through headphones is very nice and it is really a gorgeous phone.buy it sooner,cuse i've heard sony is going to make it history.

SACRIFICE??!! why? why sacrifice?this is exactly my problem,why do you have to neglect some very important thing ( like the loud speakers ) on such a device? think about it,you pay a lot of money for that,it's not a cheap phone at all.is the camera good? NO WAY ! is the film recording wonderful? GIVE ME A BREAK !!! so why is it pricy? just music,huh?so i'm asking you,when you want to be satisfied with your device that its only ability is playing music ( well yeah, it makes phone calls too ! ) don't you think it has to be perfect?i mean what is that jazzy walkman logo doing there? why most of the people prefer cellphones over mp3 players ? is it because cellphones have a better quality ? of course not,any dummy knows that sony ericsson w850 or any other music cellphones even don't touch the surface of great quality of I-pods and other proffessional mp3players ! so the only better thing is that : first,with the cellphone replacing the mp3player you will be lighter,you don't have to carry two things with you , just one.
second is that the phone has speakers so you don't have to damage your ears by listening through the headphones all the times,you can use spaeakers when you are with your friends,at the beach,in a place that there is no cd-player,in your office,even you can take that to your bed and enjoy listening to music with your spause ! lol.so my verdict is this:
1:if you are a music lover,don't buy it.instead get some very cool i-pod or sony walkman players for you and a decent phone,they are really better.heavier ofcourse but you love the music,so have to pay the consequences!
2 : if you are a normal person trying to buy a phone which is a multimedia device,never get close to it.sure it takes pictures,recrd movies,plays them back and plays the music but there are a lot of other choices available that happen to be cheaper! like what ? sony ericsson w800 ! ( the 2 mega pixel camera on this beauty has auto-focus and can really be used )
3 : if you want a heavy phone that makes squcking sound when you get its slide opened and a phone that has poor speakers,mediocare screen( not bright ! ) , terrible navigation key and kind of dull,then this is the right choice.don't hesitate into buying it.
the good things :1 : unbelivable battery life,very good
2 : cool music quality through the head phones !

its a fool if you say 6288 have a great bass. yeah 6288 and 3250 have a loud sound, but the bass its not good at all. to much treble. if you are talking about bass, rokr e1 still the best. i can hear clearly the bass from rokr e1. and 3250 and 6288 is nothing.....all of my friend said that rokr has the best speaker (even though not the loudest)...

do you really intend on listening to a phone's loud speaker most of the time? For me, I would love to sacrifice quality of music playback on loudspeaker for a great playback on headphones. That's where nokia sucks. Their headphones and music playback on headphones sucks big time.

I'm amazed from the people who said that the sound of this mobile is excellent ... they must be talking about the sound from the headphone only which is really great, but the sound from the phone speaker is very disappointing and cannot be compared with Nokia 3250!

I like everything in this phone ... except the sound from the speaker, despite the sound from the headphone is great, but the sound from the speaker is very disappointing it is actually NOTHING comparing Nokia 3250 or even 6288 where you can here a clear bass from the speaker, but in W850 there is NOOOO bass at all !!!
I used to be a fan of Sony Ericsson, but now I discovered that I was on the wrong side, I will head up to NOKIA

i bought this phone about 3months ago and its really good!!! the music sound is excellent and it stores ALOT of songs. so far ive got around 120 songs on it and millions of pics.the memory is amazing! only problem is texting-if your a texter, this fone can get slightly annoying, the buttons are loud when u press them and its not so comfortable when you text. ive dropped this fone a few times now and its still in good working order and the screen hasnt scratched. the fone does tend to switch itself off time to time and sometimes freezes if u press the buttons too fast... the games are good. another problem- when someone calls and i answer and say "hello" the other person doesnt respond untill i say hello again for the second time after about 5seconds-this has been hapening ever since i got the fone and dont know if anyone else is experiencing the same problem??...
overall a good phone..not a girly phone at all though!!!

okay so there's this prolbem.. when someone calls me and i slide up to receive the call how come the keypad doesn't lights up? only when i press the answer button and slide up the keypad lights up?? weird huh..
