People on here often ask which phone is better, the K800 OR THE W850? Well, now that i have owned both handsets, i shall give my opinion. Basically, if your looking for a really good music phone more than a good camera phone, get the w850. If your looking for a really good camera phone more than a good music phone get the K800. However, if your not bothered either way, having had both of these handsets, i would say that the w850 is the better phone, because out of the 2 comprimise situations for both phones, the w850 has the better comprimise as its camera is rather good, the mp3 player on the k800 does the job but its just ok, not good. Also, it doesnt have the joystick which from experience can be a pain. I think also the w850 looks nicer and has a better keypad. However, they are both very good phones so whichever one you get, im sure it wont dissapoint!

I just got my new phone today and i am loving it. The mp3 playback on this phone (with my own pair of 3.5mm earphones pluged into the included adaptor) is brilliant sound wise, it has made my mp3 player redundant. Its so easy to navigate through your songs. The included memory is more thatn enough for me (1gb). The camera takes some decent pictures and records good videos. The user interface is easy to use and the display is really large and clear. Some people say that the sliding mechanism is a bit flimsy, but, i have looked at it and i have decided that the sliding mechanism is fine, its the "D pad" (the 4 direction navigation keys) thats quite loose that makes it feel like the slider is jerking. In have only found 2 negatives, first, when you slide the phone up, its quite slow to respond to get out of sleep mode, although its only about a second before the home screen comes up. Also, pressing the down button on the "d pad" can take time getting used to as its quite stiff because its right on the edge of the bottom of the phone. However, this is a brilliant phone and i would recommend it to anyone!

I am mercy and sony ericsson w850 very is a very nice phone. any body who will say something bad about this phone does'nt know any thing bout phones.

In every aspect w850 is far far better than n70,w850 have a great display,great look,can attend video call(3G) or edge,and 2 mega pixel camera,and a full fledged 2.0 version walkman for better music interface.

I've got the white one.. It's so cute.. The sounds are good too.. Loved the features.. The camera can be adjusted for red eye, night mode etc..(like digital camera).. There's alsoa light but Just a question, How do I lock my notes so that it cant be view or excess for anybody?

I've been using this phone for 4 months now, it still great, no cracking D-Pad. The slider is extremely flimsy, even though I rarely using the slider. The onboard speaker is unbeatable still, great sound and loud. Only M600/W950 beats it but not as loud
If anyone want to buy this phone, take good care, sliding it slowly until it fully open or it will loose in a few weeks like my friends W850. About the D-pad, DON'T press the whole pad, just pressing the rounded button is good enough by using nail. If you want to press the pad, press it gently

this mobile rocks. even the touch, the sound the performance, the camera, the screen, the buttons, every single aspect is majesticly perfect. No problems over here it works perfect.... and also all my friends adore it they have to see it ALL

DOnt look at these guyz talk. They have been using duplicate phones which is low in prices. I assure that W850i Is a great walkman for all and facilities are enormus. GREAT COOL!!!

the price is around $300 in singapore, $500 is expensive

well this phone......it was good for 1 mnth and then it was the most sad phone i hav ever used...also if it gets spoilt in india (mumbai) there is noone to repair it..even the service centre sucks big time...who even srewed the phone further...i will never buy a sony phone ever again.. :(

this phone is quiet good and quiet lousy good is that the ringtone is enuf loud for me to hear and the vibration also quiet good but i only used 5 months that phone camera start to haf problems and it becomes very lag

What can one say about the W850? Let me think... Ah! yes! It's....not that good. To be honest it's the most dissapointing phone that I've ever had. My old Motorola from some 10 years ago with it's single line LCD display was more enjoyable.
I can't wait to renew my contract.
