A very good handset. Unfornately, recently broke the screen and lcd of the one i was using. I remember playing the walkman driving to the office one day when my car radio was down. Excellent quality sound, though camera photos were not very clear

I have four cell-phones right now, SE W850 (first phone ever bought using my own earnings), Blackberry Curve 8310 (influenced by qwerty phone trend), Nokia 8250 (that old tiny creature), and the newly SE Aino.
And I appointed the W850 the captain of the squad, considering the sturdiness, muscular look, die hard attitude, loud musical performance and the history i've been going through with.

using this phone for 2 years and i did not experienced any problem.Except for the camera its not clear compared to its other 2 mega pixel feature.

I've had this phone for almost 3 years and it's only recently broke down permanently.
It didn't really have many problems, but one of the things which really irked me was that the screen wouldn't appear sometimes (it'd just go black). In addition, the phone sometimes just switched off by itself somehow, regardless of how much battery was left.
It's a great phone, though. Loudspeaker is pretty good, and it's easy to use. It's a bit heavier than other slide phones, but really, most of the features are quite nice. I'm a bit sad not to be able to use mine anymore, but hey, it's time I moved on!

i am using w850i for over 2years now but am having a problem with it,d battery dnt last up to an hour,the back light is completly off.and attime a message wil b sent to me that i should discontinue using my phone that it has develop sirious problem.pls what wil i do cause i dnt want to loose my phone.Tony from Nigeria

It's quiet a good phone.
and this type entered Iran in limited numbers.
I found it 2 years ago with a lot of problem.
I want to hold it and buy another SE (Xperia X1).

quiet good phone from SE,
althougt its systems is old but it can handle easily and really awsome,
the sound is not much louder as w580i but it is clear

i have this phone since december 2006,it's my soul-mate,if you know what i mean!Since that month,i bought it along with 4gb card MS PRO DUO(compatible with most sony camaras)wich work great!(doesn't freeze the image)Plus,it has IRDA,the infrared port,too-i use this to control my computer(media files,such as mp3) with usb adapter!

using it for more than 3 years! great phone, love its design, great sound for music playing.
however, the front keypad had crack after 6mo, i guess the keypad plastic it's just too thin for heavy browing on music and photos.

The phone is more than a caller device, features are more than good. my 3 years experience with it is awesome. But the discontiunity of this phone has made me sad because my friends also wanted it. And disavailability of its accessories also costs me. Anyway its nice one
