my upkey is craked all the way to the down key im so mad !!!!!!!!! pist thise is my 2nd w850i i had the white one and the same thing happen to that one . im pist!!!!!!!!!!

It's true=( my dpad cracks too juz a small line visible one cant imagine da whole thing crack=S HOpe it can be fix i dun mind spending fixing it bt after all da fon rocks!!

yes you can have 4gb and only the early models cracked easy but not the newer models. this is a fantastic phone

What is with this D-pad cracking? I have been using this phone for almost 6 months and I don't see any problem. The D-pad is unintuitive to use at first but after using for a while, you will feel a lot easier.
Easily the best music phone around.

i myself is a sony user and sony promoter, for all your answers:
good things:
the mp3 is very good as u can see there are some people who sold their ipods...it can upgrade up to 4GB.
the speakers is not as gd as w550i..tip for judging a good speakers would be looking for more holes like k800i, although k800i's speakers is not tat loud..but its very very clear..those with one holed speaker like w850i speaker quality is more coarse.
its charger is good compare to other sony hp's charger while u can charge while using earphones. theres another port on the charger for you to insert the earpiece.
the batt life compare to w880i is abt the same since they are using the same battery other than different softwares that affects batt life. one tip to save more batt life is to off your 3G network. go settings-connectivity-mobilenetworks-select GSM only

yesh....the keypad does spoil..my w850i lower cursor also cracks!! but..what i heard to prevent further cracking is paste same stickers like beads-stickers to support the pressure u gave to the keypad.

depend on yourself. you prefer kamera phone or music phone.
w850 have flash dear, but only one.. the camera is good (can be compared with k750) if in outdoor.. but if in indoor, theres a lot of noise, eventhough the flash already on..but nightmode, help a little..the biggest dissapointment of the camera fiture is the zoom only work in vga mode..(not in 1mp or 2 mp).

I bought this phone and used it for two months. The phone cracks where the play/stop button is and the down button. I use it for a third month, another crack happens between the play/stop and the left button. This pissed me off badly after paying so much for the phone. I even wrote to SE to see if they can help me repair the phone and they don’t help. The overall phone is good, just the navigation pad is terrible and realizing the pad structure is very weak. Can I get the navigation pad repaired? Can anyone help me out?

hey guys i've owned this little baby about 4 months.i had so many phone b4.Before i bought this fon,i look at so many reviews,some said good some said bad .Well cut da crap i like this fon alot no problems at all ,key pad was juz not a big deals but some stupids always complain about this and that..

is that so? u can use numeric keypad for navigation? ..hmmm if that's true.. im going for this fone now.. no auto-focus? can't zoom b4 takin' a picture? ..i can live with dat..^_^
