se is NOT the worst phone. to date i'm still using K700i, T630i, P800i, W610i, W810i, w880i and i never sent to repair. works flawlesly till today.

This is probably one of the worst phones i have ever had !! firstly the phone turns itself off with the slightest wrong touch which is highly annoying, the battery last just under 2 days and it does not have an impressive web browser compared to most new phones. the keys are small and i find the navigation difficult on it. i think this is not one of S/E best makes thats for sure, mine is going to be tossed into the trash as soon as i get a replacement.

I have had this phone for 10 months now, really good phone. Only down side is the small keys which you have to use your finger nails to text with otherwise you press 4 keys at once. Also, it keeps on turning itself off, usually if knocked but sometimes just by itself. I work for a phone company and this is something that I hear a lot about with this and the W910i as well. Good news is that this is fixable under the manufacturer's warranty though.

does your phone give a red light near the "c" botton when charging with the phone turned off.. and does the music bar flicker with the letters when moving? my phone is one day old:(

used that phone for 6 months, sold it, missed it, went to shop to buy a new one but bought W910. Anyhow w880 is something special, something to love and a good phone. same for W910. My second SE, before was Samsung lover. Need to say once used to SE.....uloveit

Having this phone about 2 month. And im very pleased with it. What all i want is just phone with great music. Eventhough the loudspeaker is not good but the headset is awesome, its better than any other phone manufacturer. Another thing this phone is fast and never hang. The Camera quite all right, you can use night mode in the dark. But it would be great if there were flash on it. Overall its a great phone!!!

Reasonable phone, but VERY POOR internal speakers. Only get good sound if u use the headphones. Also my phone switches off if bumped even lightly !

Hey guys I got my Gold W880i a few weeks ago and now I'm seeing that number three and six are starting to peel. As in the silver paint is starting to come off. Now I was wondering is it possible to replace the keypab on this phone, if I sent it into vodacom. In the phone's defence I use the phone mainly for messaging. Thanks.

Hey all, just wanted to let you all know what I think about this phone. I like it very much! I've had it for 3 months now so have certainly given it a good run to properly evaluate it.
I started out with Ericsson phones then went to Nokia. I soon found the quality of Nokia very very poor so went back to SE. I've always been used to Symbian but this phone design and interface is great! Last Nokia I had was the N80 which I got rid of because it would constantly hang. I've only had one hang with the SE and I think it was due to a dirty SIM card.
I love that the phone is very slim therefor it's easy enough to take anywhere without being noticable. The battery life is fantastic especially on UMTS. I don't use the camera on it so I can't comment on that. The call quality is superb and the display is great even in direct sunlight.
One thing that made me buy this is the stainless steel case as I needed something that was durable (one thing Nokia are not unless you go back to the indestructable 3310/3315) and that it was so compact.
One thing I don't like is the size of the buttons. It can get annoying for texting so takes a bit of getting used to.
One thing I miss is WiFi but the N80's battery life was pitiful with it on (I used it for Salling Clicker).
If your looking for a compact and durable phone, I highly recommend the W880! The headphones packaged are excellent and also has a 3.5mm jack for your stereo and the 1Gb card is a huge bonus.

Unfortunately I have few good things to say. The keys are a pain to work with, the shutter release on camera is WAY slow, zoom only available on video, the front camera cannot be used except for video calls, autotype is a pain sometimes cos it brings up the wrong words. When I type I'll it switches to H'll. As I say that a lot it's annoying. It takes too many keys to switch to numbers. The earphones are nice but the phone speaker is not suitable for music. Good stuff: predicting words from what has been used before (rarely used but nice), memory card, earphones, phone to pc options, comes with cable, long battery life, looks good and is small and light.
