This phone is great....has everything in a simple manner...3g, bluetooth, mp3/mp4, appealing design, very good 2MP camera, lightweight and very slim, user friendly, the music player is very cool as with all Walkman phones.....however the keys are very uncomfortable to sms with, i got used to them now but still they bother me and battery life is practically sh*t....other than that i'd give d phone 5 star for good value for money!

I had a problem with the mouthpiece, i replaced it but still it was giving me problems. IF friends call they cant hear me but i can hear them I think it will be the speaker cos am not so sure about the problem."
your microphone is to blame, but it's not in the mouthpiece, it's in the upper part of the phone (unusual for sony ericsson)

I've had mine about 2 years and it's great. I updated to C902 and went back to W880. Nice and simple. Great browser & quick.

am using sony for about 3 years no problem at all good style, finish, screen resolution and good music headphones. problems is low speakers. Now it needs repairing and it cost me about 3000 to 4000 thousand big problem. Well if you can handle it well then this phone is damn cool. But no fm so take care.

I've had this phone for about 3 years and its great. Its quite reliable apart for a tendency to black out for no reason. The web browser is okay but limited in what it can do. Love the music s/w and slimness of the phone. If your looking for a handy phone for daily use then this is a good choice. By the way, be careful not to break anything because repairs can be expensive-not that it breaks down easily.

The Sony Ericsson W880i has a brilliant Walkman system and as it is slim, has unique txting buttons, it's very stylish and cool. Also has a great organizer.

heloo!!i have the same phone which i bought last year!!suddenly i recgonised that bluetooth is not switching on for about 2 months and i recognised it turing on and speaker and mike not working!!help me!!

Hi. I have been using this phone since 2007 and i have realized some positive and negative stuff in this phone, the positive things are the intelligent software from sony (as always) and the cool style and the light weight and the shortcut button and the long life battery and the high quality headphone sound... But the negative things are: 1.Small Screen.
2.No FM radio.
3.Speaker too Low.
4.No Flash light.
5.Uncomfortable keys.
6.Unable to record a video neither take a picture in front Camera.
7.Headphone not loud enough.
8.No W-LAN.
9.No Auto-Foucs.
10.Unable to zoom in [2mb] and [1mb] pic size.
11.Stupid voice control key.
12.Very Bad Digital Zoom in camera.
13.No Optical Zoom.
14.the annoying internet button on the keypad. *u can avoid the accidently internet connection by simply applying a user name and a password on the internet connection

D chargin point recognizd charger but bat3 never charge 2 100%.. Am on bullisharde@yahoo.com
