Hi all, is anyone else having reception problems. I've had this phone for a few weeks and after initially being impressed I may now have to return it. Unfortunately I just don't get good reception in my flat, even though my previous SE phone had no problems. Battery life is good but I'm beginning to wonder if the antenna just isn't strong enough when in standby. If the phone is out of standby and I'm playing with it then I get reception better than if its in standby. This could be a bug but there is no fix to my knowledge. I'm in central Europe.

actually i was not in favor of N91 or nokia itself, i'm an avid SE fan. but we must face the fact as the reviews have proven it everywhere W950 is SE's best music phone but other than sound rendering and camera it wins alot against N91. anyway three UIQ phone will come at May 8 as it is rumored(hope it's true) and one of them is a walkman UIQ, maybe W950 successor with DSP chip and better audio rendering(audio chip maybe)... who knows? this could simply be the king of all music players.
please don't be mistaken me as a nokia fan. no i'm an SE fan.

u r telling that N91 sounds much better than SE-ha ha ha ha-this is the biggest joke of d century. u know,i know n everyone in this world knows who gives d best audio quality sound. n that is SE no doubt.

hey i wana buy a walkman phone. i currently own a w850 and a w800 but i wana noe if the w880 sound output is louder than the w850...

Hi Kiera,
Yes the crystal i am referring to is the hard, transparent type (just take note of the gooves at the back cover when you come across one). I like the phone so much i juz bought 1 for my wife earlier this evening! Wahaha! And when i went back to the same shop, the boss is paiseh that the crystal case he sold me "redecorated" my phone's back and he threw in a free silicon case for my wife. But i will stick to the crystal case still as tha damage has already been donw. Cheers SE!! ^^

u cant say tht n91 sound quality suk...becoz it is meant to be a music phone...but the walkman series phone definately is better...thts wat the 'SONY' word is for...but i still recomend the motorola rokr series...E2 and E6...the sound quality on those are alomost as good as an ipod..many studies showed...and this is my opinion...so don't say moto suk....

this can sound crazy, but after many Nokia mobiles I bought the W880i and believe me. Never Nokia anymore. I have this phone now 7 weeks and not 1 crash, no needed to restart even not 1 time..... SE you opened a new world for me, Nokia will have hard times in future, believe me

N91 has the best audio quality at the moment. yeah it beats walkmans in terms of sound output, but walkmans do not disappoint users in terms of reliability and quality. and it satisfies users in a way that nokia fans can't understand. and note that all walkmans have excellent audio quality even it's a lowend or high-end. in contrast to nokia that only one N-seies can surpass walkman quality. anyway that's only an opinion.

overall the phone is good but the voltage and radiation is very high... after talking over the phone for almost 10 min, u can feel the phone is very hot...

Havin been kicked by my n91's 10 months legacy of crashing and peculiar activites, I just would like to know if w880i has better audio quality than n91?

hi bro ,you mention the crystal case , isit the hard one or ??
i bought a silicon rubber protection for this great phone, its great protect the keypad from damage, that means even if the button is tinted , it will last long with the silicon cover

Had this phone for 2 days now, tested and tried i will say all features and am very very pleased with it. The only downside is the "so-so" camera which could only take good pictures if you have a steady hand. The battery lasted me 2 days as i always use it with HBH-DS970 to stream bluetooth stereo music while travelling around.
For peeps in SG PLS TAKE NOTE that the crystal case which can be bought just about everywhere is NOT REALLY SUITABLE as you will notice grooves within the interior of the back crystal cover. It actually "eat" into the soft matt finish at the back of the phone (due to the tight fit) and leave tiny marks on the back of the phone! Notice it today and just to pre-emp anyone who thought of buying the cover. (Could check it out if you want)
Else, cheers to SE for coming up with this slick, chio, fast, block walkman phone! SE RULEz!!!

Hi there - all Sony Ericssin fans,
This phone is the best SE phone ever - I have Z610i, K610i and W810i - and I will say, that W880i is the best phone ever i had. Good quality in the pict. Good quality in the batteri. Very very nice design. And yes, the best phone ever.
I recommend you all who are thinking about to buy this phone... DO IT, BUY IT! :-)

when i try to play my music on some of the playlists i have created it says playback failed yet the songs work other times can anyone help !!!!

I am loving the phone but not having a flash is a really poor show. The sound quality and battery is fantastic. All in all a great phone
