I have had lots of phones and scanning round the forums read backlash post earlier as ive had n80,,n73 and 6630 and 6680 and so on and left the bandwagon to get samsung d900..Ive had smartfones since n3650 but fed up with bugs,, weight,, poor baterry life and so on..i know this is s/e site but it seems that a lot more are leaving the smartfone race for these new thourough breads WHICH coincidently are far more advanced than they used to be and can do most things anyway thanks to java and an impressive speclist.Have not seen this fone yet but it must look really thin as d900 is 3mm thicker than this but its on list as next fone..good stuff

Great handset, great function, big problem...Bluetooth. This handset has some problems when using to pair with Bluetooth devices. The connection constantly fails and when it does connect the handset freezes completely to the point where you need to remove the battery to remedy. if you don't need Bluetooth this phone is great bit if you do..............beware

SeF:
i think 262k colors will be replaced with 16M colors sooner or later- just as what happens with other features, there's always an upgrade. so i guess they'd have to come up with a better battery then? :-)

disappointed SE fan:
you need 16M colors?
-then look at any samsungs there, do they need to have 16M colors to make it's display very good? and do you know the reason why nokia phones with 16M colors runs out of battery so fast? 262K colors are enough, even windows mobiles have 65Ks but they have good images in their display. i think SE just need to increase the brightness and contrast in more vivid setting rather than increasing colors which causes it's major letdown for the consumers who don't have time charging everyday. before you post something, be more objective so you wont fall disappointed reporting problem and again blaming SE for what they do.

I would like to know if anyone has this phone bought from 3 (three) network, in Australia or any other country which is in english only..and if they know if this phone has any software which can enable it to read & type chinese? Because my SIM is locked to Australian 3 network, and my phone cannot read chinese. I heard from someone you can download some software to change the phone language, but im not sure if this is compatible to my 3 network. Can anyone please help me?

SE is on the right track with the release of their "slim and thin" phones. Too bad this model doesn't have FMradio tsk, tsk. I only wish Sony Ericsson would improve more on other specs of their products in order to at least be competitive with Nokia's N series. If only W880 or K810 and all their upcoming fons would have a bigger screen (at least more than 2-inches), better screen pixel resolution (at least 320x240) more screen colors (at least 16million) and better video quality (VGA or QVGA) with at least 5MP cybershot camera and WIFI then that would be the PERFECT phone for me! But please no sliders nor clamshells, just candybar would be fine.
