Sony Ericsson is the leader in producing feature-packed phones. But feature-packed phone with slim style? C'mon SE ... slim phone is so last year. Motorola has even moved to other form factors and styles. Live in the future, SE ... not the past! :-)

Does W880 offer a radio?
Well i just went thru its flash intro from sony ericsson website (http://www.sonyericsson.com/spg.jsp?cc=ap&lc=en&ver=4000&template=pip5&zone=pp&pid=10653) and I click on Try The Phone then I found this: organizer > alarm > alarm signal > turn on an alarm > alarm signal >> from here we can choose from whether a "Radio" or "Sounds".
- It also said: "To use the radio as an alarm signal, ensure you attach the portable handsfree. It will work as the radio antenna."
- Can anyone tell me what is this "Radio" mean?

i feel that the phone is quite improportionate because the keys besides the D-pad is so small and sony ericsson wasted the spaces around the buttons

I just bought this phone in Silver/Black. Good solid, light and beautiful phone. Basically, slice W810i into half and you get this phone. Vibrator is all right, speaker is also ok but not as good as W810i or W800. Apart from that, the looks are simply amazing. Every friend of mine who saw this phone straight away loved it and asked me to get them one too!
It has five alarms in it and you can set a picture for the alarm too! So set your girl friends pic and see her first thing in the morning! It also has predictive text for messaging.
Verdict: Not an eye soar at all!

The price is resonable cause this is a great phone made by Sony Ericsson. If this is a Samsung; then I do not think it's even worth half the price!!! Anyway, Samsung can't make good phones at all(heat up problem, bad reception, not durable nor reliable etc. etc.), PERIOD.

I generally like SE phones , and i have a k750i which is by far the best produced by any mobile company in terms of overall functionality .... this is also a nice slim mobile phone .... but with its sky high price it is just useless
SE might just kill this model with its high price and
WTF THIS IS JUST A SLIM FONE WITH LITTLE OR LESS FUNCTIONALITY , even k750i play better songs with megabass in my bose headphones
bullcrap ,

I was really surprised when i asked the price of this phone the other day...Php 22,000 in robinson's manila.. WTF!!! it's too expensive!!!
i don't know why but it's not even a smartphone & doesn't really have impressive features & it's not even attractive at all. all its got is just it's "thin", but why buy this one if there are other phones out there in the market that are also thin(or thinner)and feature packed and yet in very reasonable price! :/

F4pr(whoever you are)
look, LG,Samsung,Nokia and many other manufacturers have slim phones as of now. SE is not copycating motorola's slim portfolio but just adapting the up to date slim concept as it is popular. and please note that Motorola slvrs didn't really start slim candybars but the samsung c100 does it motorola is also copycating. have a research yourself and find out your mistake!

bad move for SE to copy MOTO in their thin phones portfolio as it turn out fugly
