I went with my girlfriend 2 get 1 and by the first evening she had a new love in her life it has *EMACULATE* specs, my w380a & my w580i are mere thought of what once was CUTTING EDGE. I encourage all who hate bulky phones to get 1 right away. Worth every penny.

I( have had so many problems with the phone, it's driving me mad.
The reception is so bad, I keep getting emergency calls only.
After you dial your number and press call, it takes about a minute before you can hear the ring tone.
I have sent it for repairs once already, now it is booked in for asecond repair.
The phone looks great, but not much good if you can't make a call from it!!!

1. Use BST-40 battery which is compatible (check older postings as others have mentioned it much earlier) but does pump up the phone so the back just sticks out somewhat!
2. Turn OFF 3G unless absolutely needed!
3. Turn OFF all other applications that are running in the background!
4. Lower the light level

Anyone tried using SE's media software??
The software is BS and does NOT create playlists and does NOT allow edits to any names!!
It's S*** and should be avoided!
You can always drag n drop the files into the media card but then you MUST create PAINSTAKINGLY the playlists for EACH folder you create!!
What a pain the A**!! That's why SE phones are NOT good anymore!
What good is the media player when 1) the controls are too DAMN SMALL and 2) the media software SUCK?!!
Using the iPod now for ALL music and use the SE phone for just that purpose, a PHONE and NOTHING MORE!!
Never buy another damn SE phone!

SE has MANY problems with their firmware for their phones!
Users should download the New Update software as it works better than the previous version! Unfortunately, the arcane method of holding the "c" key is still present! Guess SE engineers really are "stupid" when they can't produce a decent update software and require users to hold a key down for an update! How quaint!!!

Note:
SE's update service software has finally been upgraded and it works! Previous version suck!
Unfortunately, you must go through the arcane method of holding down the "c" key to update!

What's happening to SE phones right now? Why are all of their recent phones restarting. Their software are not stable anymore. They used to make stable and very good phones but now most of their new phones tend to restart and freeze a lot.

well its desin n keypads r cool but battery is so poor battery timing.n it restarts sume times itself.but its camera is fantastic.but it has no zoom in mega pixel option.

Well, it's good to hear that I'm not the only person both loving and hating this phone. The design and the keypad are amazing, but the battery is really poor and the phone often lags or just turns itself off. For months I had a problem with bad reception, even when I was standing in the middle of Oslo. There is also something wrong when I call someone or recieve a call, I can hear this weird "knocking" sound coming out from the phone. I've sent the phone back to the store three times, they've even swapped the unit, but the problems are still there. It seems to be a problem among all the silver colored phones.
Now I'm so tired of this phone and all of its problems, so I'm buying a new phone. I would absolutely recommend this phone, though not the silver grey.

it's an amazing phone but there's no autofocus. still it takes amazing photos as long as you have a steady hand

I have a problem on my w890i phone.
When i connect it to my pc and transfer music from my pc to my phone it says ONE OR MORE FILES FAILED TO TRANSFER. ERROR.
But when im transfering pictures from my pc to phone its ok and it works.
Now I can't transfer music from my pc to my phone.
I don't know what's the problem. Is it my phone or pc?
I don't know what to do.
PLease help me guys!!!
