I've been using this model for a year. This phone has been great. The pad is great for texting..soft. Just a bit small that's all. The phone is slim...Really suitable for ladies actually.Camera - not bad. Overall it's a great phone to get.I bought a mocha colour -looks classic and special. Once I took out my phone, all my friends will say that it's a very good looking phone..haha.

I have never had any problem with the w890i. To extend battery I kept brightness at 50% and turned off 3g. The same things I do to Nokia phones to extend battery. Keep note of any background running applications as they also take power to keep running.

Love the phone.Very stylish & feature packed.To those who commented 'bout the batt & hang problem. I suggest you adjust the brightness to the lowest (mine is 50), only activate your 3g or bluetooth when needed & update the firmware to latest version.Gud day!

The worst phone I have ever laid my hands on!!!!!!
Do not buy, unless you want to torture yourself. It began on day one, by not charging properly. Then it began to switch off, and not switch on again. Then I had to start pulling out the battery, as I could not switch it off to switch it on again. Now it cuts out about five times a day and this week it has started to refuse to send text messages. I was assured by my phone company ( who have been useless) that I needed a new sim, and that would rectify everything!!!!!!!!!!! Surprise surprise, today, with my new sim, it switched off three times in the space of twenty minutes and I still cannot send texts!! I wont even mention the complete and totally useless battery life.
Sony Ericsson should be responsible and refund every poor soul that hs been subjected to this torture.

i use this phone for 2 weeks maybe 3, until now its been hangin like 4 times, and these few days its been hangin EVERYDAY!!! and the batterry is on only for 2 days! i am soooooo dissapointed with this phone! and SOny ericsson! i love the design actually, its thin, light, and the keypad is so comfortable.. but since its been hangin.. i think im gonna sell that again.. and change it to blackberry or nokia E71.. i hate using sony ericsson! grrrr

VIDEO RECORDING IS GOOD, Camera is good, display is good. Music is good if ur headset is good.. so all in all.. two thumbs up for this phone. i have a brown one ^_^

i wonder whats happening to your fons,i got this and it works better...i have a previous fons from motorola L9,Nokia 5310 and SE W890i was the winner.
excellent design,camera,music,radio,internet...etc. i plan the W902i but sad to say its made of plastic so i stick to W890i.
