I've had my phone for two months now and I love that I've been able to stop carrying an iPod around to listen to music. Definitely have to use the headphones since the speaker is worse than my old Nokia 6330. That's too bad, since ringtones and message tones don't sound so clear. What I'm most disappointed about is the software for managing music, especially podcasts. It's really annoying to have to delete files from my computer, and then when I plug in the phone, there's no option to sync. Instead I must manually delete the same files I just deleted on the computer. It can't compare AT ALL to iTunes, and the transfer rate to the phone is SLOOOOW. Anyway, for looks and slim factor, I'm very happy with it.

Dani, 10 Sep 2008It has it.Dani, can you tell me how to set that? Please note that I would like for the phone to vibrate a few times BEFORE the ringing starts. I like this feature because it allows me to answer the phone quickly before the ringing starts. Thanks.

i do not agree. Have both SEw890i en Nokia N73 but W890i is much better in sound!
Sound is more clear and better Base

Does this phone allow you to set the ring tone to vibrate a few times before it starts ringing? I have become used to this feature on my Motorola Razr V3, and would like to have that in my next phone.

Anonymous, 10 Sep 2008W890i & W880i's sound quality is nice but not better than N... moresay that again???? hey! did you already try the headohnes from sony??? & you can use other earphones as well,, NOKIA cannot beat and will never beat sony ericsson interms of camera,, & specialy music!! nokia phones are just loud,, but interms of music quality,, they cannot catch up to walkmans,, they are clear in earphones,, and in speaker mode,, why dont you compare the sound of the old k700i to the speaker of the 5610?? even youre grandmother will hear the difference,,
why do we need to EXPRESS MUSIC when we already have a WALKMAN

W890i & W880i's sound quality is nice but not better than New Nokia 5610, 5310, 6300, 5220, 5000 N76, 73, 70, 96, 95 etc O.K ENJOY WITH NEW NOKIA 'S HS-45 HEADSET!!! It's the best in the world with it's sound quality.

Should I try again, am I doing something wrong (I' m sure about that!!!!!)

I just got the W890. But it doesn't have the currency converter, which is very useful for me since I travel a lot. I just need the manual convertor where we key in ourself the exchange rate between 2 currencies. Does anyone know of a good website with free download for this kind of manual currency converter, please?

Anyone had problems with the ringtones. Specific problem is not the speaker or playing options. The phone just doesn't ring anymore.
Software updated and everything else seems to work fine. Any ideas?

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Pal, its definetly w890i which you gota have. Its better in every thing. I didn't test the 5610. But from my experince with the nokia's. They have a low sound quality. About the design and style you can definetely see the diffrence. All the mobile phones' ads & pics present the phones in a wonderful way. When you buy it you find it less. Well in the sonyericsson its the same. The diffrence is when you have it you find it more.
