      Hi, I just recently bought this phone. However, I'm not sure if anyone has had this problem, but I purchased it off from a UK seller but it was unlocked. However, everytime I receive an incoming call, the network says there's no network coverage and the phone kills my call, yet I can put outgoing calls just fine. I don't know if anyone has had this problem and has it resolved, but if there is can you tell me how you fixed it?

        I do not understand what has happened to SE.

        One lousy phone after another.

        W890 (initial price 500USD)
        - small screen
        - no WIFI
        - no autofocus
        - no flash
        - weak speakerphone
        - weak ring volume
        - horrible battery

        C902
        - small screen
        - lousy camera

        G900
        - triband!!!!
        - lousy camera
        - slow, SLOW processor

        The last chance was the Xpedia but it is too late, and too big :)

        And the fact that Se can not even able to manufacture it - well that confirms that SE has a huge quality control problem.

              Hey babies come on dear take a plastic phone and use it. I think that will work out u people.And u can post your wonder full opinion towards this forum.
              The plastic mobile model is "Mummyphone" Come on now u argue with this ...

              To my Knowledge for the past 11 day's i am using W890i i never found any problem towards this phone. Why their lot of confusion towards great product.

              W890i never need any auto focus its is better to use . Last Sunday i taken more than 100 photo's its really better .

              No more complaint about this mobile. people if u have any doubt regarding this phone u can ask towards me.

                  SE Pay attention!

                  I would like to suggest SE:
                  (since many of the staff monitor this website)

                  Give the following rewards to their excellent engineers/managers:

                  third place: who ever came up with the idea not to put flash on the W890.
                  - three days vacation in Bogota (Columbia) plus a hat ATF written on it.

                  second place: who ever came up with the idea not to put autofocus on the W890
                  - 2 weeks in Novosibirsk in January (Siberia, Russia) plus a coat with a sign ˝I am a vegan˝

                  first place: the engineer design the dialing buttons
                  - 1 months in Free Town - in Sierra Leone (with an XXL T-shirt with the Statue of Liberty on it)

                    IT is nice to see that the SE fanatics argue that the #1 seller in the World is making cheap phones :)))

                    But, if they would be expensive I guess that would be the argument - naturally.

                    SE put the W890 on the market for 500 USD!!!

                    Almost nobody bought it so the price came down significantly:
                    but still expensive especially for a phone which:
                    - has small screen
                    - no autofocus
                    - low ring volume
                    - lousy speakerphone
                    - no Wifi
                    - small buttons (adult proof)
                    Kids can be sure the parents will not take their phone!)
                    - weak and problematic battery

                    Of course, some SE fanatics after 8 weeks of ˝Se Rules˝ ˝Se fanatics˝ started to get the point :) - by copy my list and negate the meaning.

                    SE if this is the best you can do - please get out from this business or hire back those who used to design your phones.

                      - small screen - Its Pefect for its Price Range
                      - lack of autofocus - Its a Walkman Phone(not Cyber-Shot)
                      - lack of flash - Again its a WALKMAN Phone!!!
                      - lack of Wifi - Its not 'High-End' if you want a High-End Walkman and Wi-Fi W960i is the way to go!!
                      - lousy battery - If you Switch 3G OFF, the Battery Life increses up to 5-6 Days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
                      - Low Volume - Well its a Slim Phone, low volume would is the case with most Slim Phones!!!!!

                          Well what can i say about this super slim phone...its stylish and sexy! Has some really good features on it!
                          The speaker volume when its on loud is abit low compared to other Walkman phones ive had in the past but the music playing through earphones is quality especially when you play around with equalizer and add more bass to it!
                          The only bad things id say about this phone is ... the reception is totally rubbish, i spend half of my time at the window when sending a text or phoning someone which is annoying but ive been told its a common fault as the signal anton is at the bottom of phone instead of the top! I mean how stupid is that!
                          Even though i personally think the camera does take some good pictures on it 3.2mega pixel but the down side is there isn't no auto focus or flash! but you have to remember that this is a Walkman phone, not a Cyber-Shot, and its focus is music.

                          However, im sticking to my silver Samsung G600! but i would recommend the w890 if you want a phone that looks nice, light weight and is used mainly for music.

                                You do not understand - SE pushing the limits, they are on the cutting edge.

                                SEś goal is to release phones with the least amount of features for the most amount of money.

                                Who needs autofocus, flash for a 3mp camera? :))) all these for 300-500USD?

                                This phones for rich kids! (age 8-12)
                                (do not care about quality, small buttons etc)

                                  hi all, im from singpore and had jus gotten this phone..
                                  i would like to ask u all if u know where does this phone manufacture in? Because on my phone box it says it's Made in China. all the accessories is also made in China.. I mean how can man... or had i got a fake phone?.. Please some kind soul (maybe from singapore) can u guys check the box of yr phone and let me know if its really Made in China... = ) thanks so much....
