Dani is utterly right because the Nokia Express music fones are cheap copies of the Walkman range fones. Also the Nokia 5600 xpress music phone's colour scheme is really saying something i thinks its saying something such as BIG TIME copy because Walkman fones mosly come in black. So in conclusion all Walkman phones are the best fones out for music and by the way im the Boss in this forum Dani!! hahaha onli messin

It takes bout a week 2 repair a fone, so either shut up or put up. Its ur choice!

I will say it once again! Take your fone back to where you bought it from. Get them to send it for repair. The repair company will do a software upgrade and replace the speaker. Don't you read other peoples posts?

It's great phone.By far the best Sony Ericsson has come out with in a very long time.Only issue is that it is selectively available.+ affordibility.But I guess you have to pay for good things in life.

I have got some problems with my W890, may be you can help me with those.
The most annoying is that it is very slow.
I do not know why!
The processor or some software bugs.
I have not ever visited the internet with my W890.
The other problem is that my Sansa MP3 player sounds 100x better than my W890.
Do you know about any firmware update?
I am very fustrated with this phone.
I had Sony Ericsson before and it worked fine for many years.
This one has some troubles. The ring volume is low!
Please, if you can help send some good advice.

I have called Sony Ericsson about software or firmware update and after talking to a few totally incompetent representatives finally they told me there is nothing available!
I am very disappointed with the whole customer service process - I have the option to send it in, but in that case it will take forever to get my phone back and I will get a crappy phone for the service timeperiod. They are not willing to promise how long it will take to fix my phone.
Do you know any place where an update can be downloaded?

Since after the Ericsson era, i've been using 1 Siemens, 1 Philips, 3 Nokia, 3 Samsung, 1 Panasonic, 1 LG and 4 Sonyericsson phones (T series, W550i,W800i, W850i). So far, be it the UI...Sound Quality...Features...Designs (These are what most important to me as an average mobilephone user), SE has always been the better one, especially for the past few years.
I must honestly say what i feel after using and seeing the selling points of these brands. These current available models from SE is really better than a lot of other brands (not to mention the different special features or OS other brand/model adopting) although ive yet to own these SE models.
After drooling for over six months on SE K810i, W910i, W890i, Samsung W450i, F330, Soul, Nokia Xpress, N series, LG viewty, HTC series, O2 Atom series, i still prefer to stick to SE becoz i have been trying out these phones i mentioned above for months with a lot of colleagues and friends.
I'm getting 2 SE phones this coming weekend with K810i, W910i, W890i as the priority. Current SE phones are the best at the moment in my opinion (performance) and in terms of what i want.
Good Job SE !!!~~
May other brands continue to improve and try to dethrone SE...
... so that SE can always move ahead and produce miraculous gadgets~~

I have this fone, ive had it for a few weeks now, and i love it. My last fone was the Sony v630i (also a great fone). Ive had NO problems with my w890i. Its quick, smart light, stores over 110 songs and over 400 pictures (thats wot i have stored on mine at the minute). The sound is perfect. Not too loud and not too quiet. Fantastic reception on the radio. Im on meteor and live in the mountains and the fone has NEVER let me down. I wud recommend this fone to anyone. For those who have problems with speakers and slow functions etc. I advise you to send the fone for a software upgrade, it should still be under warrenty, so it won't cost you anything. This should solve the problem.
Btw, you know who you are and im not a child and i don't spend all my time in cyberspace. So what do you have to say now???

As far as, good SE phones - hard to find one. :)
I can hardly remember but I guess the K850 was pretty good when it came out - on that market.
Today, it is outdated.
I think it is only fair to judge a phone at a particular time on that specific market.
Another SE phone I can thin of is the T630/T637 - old phone but I still see many of them around. It was fine when it was released - features etc.
In the past, the big problem with Se is that there are only a few quad phones.
But, I think the reason for SE lost market share is that SE phones are not reliable enough - most people do not buy another.
New phones greatly overpriced and by the time they get to reasonable level they are outdated.
W890 was released for 500USD (street price!), now it is 35% less!!!
C902 and G900 are just about to be released.
I hope finally SE can get something right and the G900 will be a fine phone.

I'm owning this mobile for only 3h & I'm loving it already! I tested some features, especially connectivity ones, and it works well with the PCs Bluetooth, PERFECT sound quality with HBH-DS90 bluetooth stereo headset, 300kB/s downloading using the DCU-65 USB cable, other features very good as well, plus the OutOfThisWorld minimalistic design!! a 10/10 product.
SE is a good brand, not all phones are a success [had W880 `till today & the buttons actually were kind of a problem, plus Bluetooth kept disappearing, but hey, i got it second hand, so that's another story]. Probably the best mobile phone [at least in its class] available on the market today.
