Hello everyone i just have to say that this handset is brilliant, no joke ive had this phone a short while but, its amazing the features are at a good standard not to mention the camera god damn it makes my spine shiver in agony. Overall i love this phone and i hope that you people out there enjoy this mobile because its a big HIT.

It is out only a few weeks but practically already outdated.
(why?)
There are two more phones (c902, G900)in the pipeline and will be available soon which better than W890. And these are both from SE.
From other manufactures there are even more already out or coming out soon.
Shortcomings:
- small screen
- no autofocus
- no flash
- poor quality video
- poor quality camera
- weak speaker phone
- lack of touch screen
- lack of GPS
- weak and unreliable battery (reported by many users)
- screen problems reported by many people
- limited memory
- small buttons
- no Wifi
- poor replay (music) quality (it is also reported by independent reviews)
Luckily, the price keep falling - it is below 350USD now.
When it gets below 300 USD around 250USD then we can say it is an okay chic phone. After all it has no special features.

This phone is very nice
+ The software is better than before
+ The clock display is always stay at upper right corner
+ Year of birth now break through 1970 barrier
+ Alarm more than 1
+ Video Ringtone (nice)
+ Easy to sync with outlook
+ PC Suite 3.1 better than before (now more like N*kia PC suite)
+ Battery life is very-very good
+ Multi tasking
+ Great sound quality (use head set)
+ Shortcut every where
+ Startup screen can play my own video
- Some Font is too small
- No Flash (I don't care)
- No Autofocus (it's to bad!)
- In silent profile, music can hear from speaker phone! (W810 didn't)

i love this phone so much and probably want to buy this phone next week, but after reading some review i have 2nd thoughts. are the batt really that bad?? and the speaker is it really slow compare to other phones?

Better Sound Quality and
Mutitasking (SE's Activity Menu) for Multitasking.

W890i is better then W910i for 2 Reasons:
Slim
and CandyBar shape
W910i has some extra features over W890i. but thats all the rest is the same.

Hi ther.Can the se w890 multitask? Almost like Nokia symbian fones? Is that button with that 'arrow thingy' sortof lyk nokia menu button. oh and which sound qual is best?w890 or n95 8gb?

well if its Loudspeaker, W660i plays Louder
but if its Earphones W660i and W890i are the same.

Well that price for it is New and Sim-Free Unlocked open to all Networks. if its bought on a Network then it will be Cheaper

Trust me, just do a simple comparism on the Gsmarena reviews and Specifications.
and then you will the Difference.

W890i is better then W660i (W660i is old)
W890i is better for - music sounds, camera, receptions and battery
i would reccomend W890i to you. it seems to suit your needs Perfectly.

I want to get another phone, I'm still going to keep the godsend which is the mighty w810i.
I was looking at the w890i but noticed that it was so similar to w880i and cost £150 more!!!
Apart from the bigger screen, 3.15MP camera, 2GB mem card and 32MB internal memory why should I buy the w890i?

I have it! it's a realy great phone :) I'm using almost all its functions and enjoing the Walkman mp3 player on the walk to university, work and home :) it looks stylish, modem is great, video calls- super, camera - fantastic. I love it :D Would change it only into N85 or SE W960 or SE G900 :)

get the xpress music phones that have just come out.
at least nokia take music seriously and give you a standard headphone jack.

@ Vaibhav,, so you find w910i unSatisfying?i have w810i and plan to get w910i. what's d diff. between the 2 in terms of sound quality.. i prefer to use HPM-82 and w810 got cool MegaBass, i hav doubts in getting w910..but i think there's a diff. in sound quality on a Walkman 3.0 ,i also have eyes for this w890 =)

Please let me know how is the sound quality of the mobile... is it similar to W700i & W810i?
