hi everyone, i want know if this phone has a good speaker for ringtong, it`s loud? and has this phone active screen mode for missed events? thanks a lot.

I just got the W890, so far so good. The main thing is that it doesn't have a pre set radio like the reviews make it sound. You still need to use the wire to act like an antena. Unlike the T650 which it has the radio available.

replaced my auto shut down w910i to this.. using it for the 3rd day. too short to encounter any issue. I hope it will be a good unit n software.. keypad is better than w910i, volume has no echoing sound like w910i..

in response to question..
i think maybe w910i was a little bit louder but w890i is fine & looks so much more stylish & is much nicer to use, i find. my w910i did not shut down itself i had no problems with it at all. the only phones with cracked keypad were the w580 & s500.

Hi Girls,
Sorry to hear (again) about the battery problems. Nothing new but it is said to see that SE does not recall the batteries. I guess they have nothing to replace them with.
The good news that the price still dropping (350 USD), soon it will be at the level where most boyfriends can afford it. (for their girlfriend´s ;)
Now, SE has to fix the battery and the screen problems and drop the price another 100USD and we have a nice little phone for us.
I wonder how long more it will take!

Hi Guys, I got this phone a couple of weeks ago mainly for its size, looks and ease of using the buttons, but i'm was disappointed with how long the battery lasts, (My old K800i still last 5 days even after a year of use, the W890 is lucky to last 3 days and i don't use it for music or anything) The biggest problem is reception, My old SE phones have always had excellent reception on the O2 network, but this one is hopeless. I've had loads of calls disconnect, people ring and it tells them my phone is not connected. I sent it back because i thought it was faulty, but the replacement was no better. My last option that I'm trying is setting it to not go on the 3G network. Has anyone else had this sort of problem?

for sound witch one more louder ? and keypad w910 many people say crack it's real ? and restart alone or shut down it's real to ?after use this 2 phone great w910 or w890 thank's for the answer sori for my bad english thx

Hi i just got this phone, had the w880i before & i've also used the w910i. I like the w890i it's just nice & small but the buttons & screen are still really clear & easy to use. w910i is ok, screen is huge which is good but u can notice the difference from 2mp camera to the 3.2mp in the w890i. Also has a radio which makes it better then the w880i straight away! Sony phones rule! Hope this helps some peeps :o)

i want buy w890 but still wait, does w890 much better than w880 ? how about speaker much louder ? and picture same or better than w880 ? pleeass anyone help me and have other phone with same price but more better ? thank's for answer

Hey natalie. thankyou for saying that i am the onli one that can solve this problem. Basically you go to settings and when your in the settings you then go to sounds and alerts soon afta you go down were it says silent mode to see if it is on and off you can change it to whatever you want so theres your problem solved. see you later natalie nice speaking to you hope you are always safe and secure

the WALKMAN Adaptor is Small and Light!
W890i is better then W910i in terms of stuff.
