To bankai123. I had the same problem twice. Once when I opened the phone and once when I accidnetally pulled the usb out. I took it to a Vodafone shop and they replaced it for me twice. If your on contract you should call your provider.

As some of you already know my phone has the white screen of death syndrome and will not turn back on! It's been like this for about 4 days, i've already tried a bunch of things trying to fix it but nothing works. Now im going to try RE-FLASHING my phone with a website called DAVINCITEAM.COM, they have a program that supposedly fixes my problem. If anybody has done this before then i need your opinion on the matter or if you know an alternative then also let me know.FYI..i live in the U.S.A

ive had this fone for nearly 18 mnths now and i cant find a better phone to upgrade to .this is by far the best ive had, sound quality superb as is camera and video has been dropped numerous time and still perfect the new ericsson phone arent much better apart from bigger memory you cant go wrong with this phone.

unfortunetly no, the W900 was discontinued middle of last year,it was only available for about 7months in most countries,you can find sum new in sum places in Singarpore and Indoenesia

wow,then im not sure hey,try downloading SEUS (SONY ERICSSON UPDATE SERVICE) frm the SE site, follow the instructions it gives you and update your W900's firmware, MAKE SURE THE BATTERY IS FULLY CHARGED

I am havin some problem wd my w900i. can anyone tell me that how can i turn-off the screen light while havin a conversation???
coz i didnt find any option 2 turn off the light;)

Where can i get a software reflash in the USA, NYC to be exact. Mobile service centers don't exist here!! If there's a way for me to do it then please let me know!! If there's something i have to buy then also let me know! PLEASE!!

N80 is about $650, W900 $700++, I dont know the price of Motorola bcoz I hate that brand hahahahahaha
I have serviced my N80 at NokiaCare. You know when I come to collect my phone, they give me another N80 which has a rounded front metal plate and scratchy keypad, that N80 is not mine and look worst, but they are convincing that was mine and when I show the IMEI with *#06# they give up and said that's not my N80, Its Silly!! so tommorow I'll go and take my real N80. This is a bad experience with Nokia when I live in Sg, I am Indonesian and this a bad impression for me(never face this prob in Indonesia)....
now, I suggest you to buy W900 from the 3 options you want and NO N80(if you don't want to take risk)!!!!!:p

My W900 died on me yesterday. I put in a 2gb memory stick and then the screen turned white for like 5 minutes and then it turned itself off, i haven't been able to turn it back on. It can't possibly be completely dead because a red light will blink in the sides like every 5 minutes, plus i just got the phone brand new one month ago! can somebody please help me fix this problem?

N80 is a workhorse,Nokia phones mostly end up in the business market.
W900 is a Fun.entertainment phone :P the best entertainment phone.besides the rest of the range.SE phones mostly end up in the Entertainment market.:P

I live in Singapore
I want to tell you something...
I'm using N80 and W900
N80 is for mobility internet phone so you can open website anywhere with the wifi connection (You know SG has Wifi hotspot almost anywhere right?)
but this phone is not build in a strong construction, it loose in sliding construction and that can affect to the screen (my N80 screen's can turn blank when i open and close the slide)
About W900
It is definitely great phone
even it doesn't came with Wifi
but this is absolutely the phone that everybody want. It's construction really solid and I have no problem with it when I've used it for 8 months.
so, if you want the phone which is for teenager, this 2 phones is the best choice (not the ugly N73). N80(new) is cheaper than W900(new) bcoz W900 much rare than N80....
btw how old are you?

Im 17 an got W900, my mum got N80, i thnk W900 is a realy gud phone for teens, the N80 is very boring bt has more funcionality since its a symbian,the W900 has a bigger screen, more internal memory, beta video recording and playback, beta sound quality, picture quality,and its louder and faster UI, i dont live in singapor so im not sure if its available there
