thats true,i hope it doesnt make a mess of W900's perfomance, but i doubt it would.
i wish Sony Ericsson could release a firmware that improves video recording abit more, maybe make the phone record in mp4 format for beta quality, the NOKIA N93 shoots at 30fps in mp4 y cnt SE do that to W900, OR sumthng close to that

@Tsepz and C4lv1n, the case is like this, when i using W810, I upgrade my memory card from 512MB to 2 G, it performs well when i Tried the memory card in W810 and W900. ( I sold my W810 but i kept the memory card because I bought the memory card alone that not included in the package) However, the same memory card performs bad in My brother's K750 (same contains of size,which nearly fill up the space of 2 G), so in my opinion, it's the phone that has influenced the speed, though I also agree the type of memory card also have big influence of speed. That's all the info that i wanna share, however, I really hope that the 8G memory card will performs as well as 2G memory card in W900, who knows one day i wanna upgrade my memory card too, rite? Please dun forget to try it first before purchase the memory card 8 G, hopefully, there will be no slow on of speed :)

i love this phone. the memory to me is good. also this phone has fall to the floor a couple of times and its still in perfect shape. and i've had this phone for at least a year or so i think two years

it depends what memory card you get, becoz my W900 feels and perfomes faster with my 1GB than my 512mb. it shud perform perfectly with an 8gb, if you fill it up then it shud slow down like any other card

2 gb can make K750 slow down???
I've tried 2gb in my w800 and no problem, as fast as with 512 mb.....
btw I've sold my W800....:)
now, the 2gb card I used in W900 and the phone performed same like with normal 2 gb card lol

@ C4lv1n , hahaha....what a small world, me and all my family member also born in Medan and moved to Jakarta around 4 years ago. Nice to know someone from same hometown, admire the same great phone in form of W900.
@ Tsepz, are u sure that 8G will not slow down the performance in W900? I have tried ro use 2G memory in K750 and it did very much slow down the performance, so I'm afraid it will be the same case with W900 if memory upgraded up to 8G. ( Both phone using memory pro duo, rite? ) Kindly advise.

LOL @ Calvin, i agreed with you before,i just didnt say so coz i kept forgeting to add that everytime i post,but yes i definetly agree, W900 takes 8gb memorystick, yes gud bye to N91 4GB and 8GB Music Edition, the W900 realy is a beta, and way more reliable phone than both N91s

It's a fab phone. It's stylish, flash n it does all the jobs you would want it 2 do. ITS THE BST FONE EVA! U shud all get 1. xxx

you must have had one messed up W900, the Camera is the best in its class becoz of its Graphics Chip! you are moving to a SAMSUNG D900? dude are you serious? you are totaly blinded by the fact that it has a 3mp camera you obviously didnt know how to use Auto Focus on the W900, and now you are downgrading to a SAMSUNG D900!? one ugly thin phone you will realy get bored even faster. 470mb internal expandable mem, 2.2inch screen, videos at 30fps, a 2mp camera that is as gud as a D900 3MP, and your leaving all of that for a SAMSUNG D900? i dont thnk you know what your doing, good luck anyway not that you wil have any wen using a Samsung

I had the phone for about 2 months and it honestly got boring to me. While the camera wasn't as good as even the w810i, the casing seemed to attract scratches better than anything, so buy a crystal clear case as I did to protect that screen. I'm moving up to a Samsung D900 (3mp camera, 2nd thinnest phone out there, quad-band support...). The w900i didn't work for me in up state New York when I visited so watch out for that asa well.

Thanx guys,i am proud to own a W900, AND to have met you guys is great! 3GP CONVERTER i used is the one from Lasyk.net ,its not the best converter but stil it gets the job done very well i mite add. when i first saw the W900 i hated it because i had just bought a W800 BUT after a while i grew to like it,then my contract upgrade came around i immedietly went for the W900 the day i got to the Vodashop to upgrade i had never seen a life-sized W900 so when the guy at the counter brought it out of the back room i was absolutely shocked! at its size, i nearly turned it back but after taking a second look at it i kinda liked it even thou of its huge size hehehe! TO this day i dont regret taking it!
