I used this phone for about 2 months, wat can i say is, its a cool phone, wit a superb camera. Video @ 30 fps. Images look brilliant when compared to nokia.

Tsepz, the sensor is CMOS not the lens. the lens is a proprietary sony lens used in older cybershots like the non-optical zooming U-series cybershots. the sensor is CMOS and it's the biggest difference it has over the U-series cybershots(having CCD sensors) but yes you're right, the Nvidia graphics helped in processing better images. but i hope there will be an ATI graphics chip in any of SE walkman flagships too. maybe sometime in the new G-series or gaming series of SE!

The W900 has a CMOS lens i thnk BUT its helpd by Graphics Accelerator and AutoFocus so the pictures come out as if its a 3mp or a 2mp with CCD lens, the video is in 240x320 at 30fps

i owned this phone for more than a year.. still love it.. but i would like to use internet on this phone... i recently got tmobile web so now i can use the google engine in the internet service.. but what about "paly now" and "myfriends" i dunno is anyone used them yet...

Ok, for now I transferred all my music to my memory card and the videos on my phone memory. It's working a bit better, but still not as smooth as I had hoped. Help please. What settings should I use for my videos when I convert them to mp4 format?

Help please. I bought my 2 Gb sony ericsson memory stick pro duo a couple of days ago. I tried putting a movie in it. It was in .mp4 format and the size was 350+ Mb. Everything went well except when I played the movie. There were parts of the movie that became choppy and they lost their sounds, but eventually the sounds and the scenes caught up with each other. It happened a lot though.
I have the same problem with the videos that I put in that are in .mp4 format and are only about 38 Mb.
Any suggestions? I'd rather not convert them into .3gp format because it reduces the size and quality of the video. Is there any other format or way that I have to use so that I can enjoy my videos without any problems?

yep i hope they do, the K790 is around $350-$350 depending where you get it. im using a 1GB SanDisk card and its gud,when i put a video on the card the audio and visual arent well sychronised,so i put all my videos on the phone memory :-) thats the gud thng bout dis phone 470mb internal mem to play around with lol

Of couse the Sony one is better than sandisk.
Now I used 2 gb sandisk because in Singapore the Sony far more expensive than sandisk especiallly the Sony high speed....
If I load some very high quality of video such as compressed avi and i saved it in memory card, the sound was missing and when i move it to phone memory it works perfect with high quality and smoothness. but if only an average video such as compressed mpeg, it works perfect both on memory card and phone memory.
Btw, how much do you buy your memory card?

@C4lvin, i use sony own memory card high speed at 80 mbps. btw,in your opinion, which one does better, sony or sandisk? First time i wanna buy sandisk but then change m y mind to use sony memory card.
@Tspez, I guess sony will also use mp4 for their video recorder, but they will have us waiting for sure. Btw, do u know how muck K790 in your country quoted in US$?

I hope no problem with w900 if 8gb used inside...
I agree about the speed also influence by the memory card. But you can try the high speed sony produo or ultra II of sandisk.
Btw, what merk of mem card u use now?
