I bought W900 6 months ago
for about Rp. 5,600,000,- or $608
How much do you buy W900? how long U used this "master of handphone"?
I think I must try to change the fast port again(the 3rd time...OMG -.-"), btw that's free at SE centre in Jakarta..:)

I find it lose also
I've change it for 2x at SE centre and it's the same problem....
I used W800 before and the fast port never lose even I often fall it on the floor (never to my W900.....:))

Btw the price of W900 in Indonesia is also higher N73 even W950.....Hahahahaha..... I'm really proud to my W900... it can held the value well
The mp4 player really smooth(check it out!)
I've tried that and mp4 can't be played in my N80 even the N73 hahahahahahahaha.........

Let me rephrase that, the W900 costs around $479-$574 lol, its held its value better than some carz out there

WOW! i just noticed that the W900 is more expensive than Nokia N73, the W900 is $479 its nearly $500 , whereas the N73 is around $400-$420 baring in mind the W900 was announcet in 2005 October and released in December 05 whereas the N73 was realesd end of last year (06) , the W900 has realy held its value very well, the P990 even dramaticaly droppd price and its the Flagship SE, im realy proud to be a W900 owner im just amazed by how this phone has kept its value so so well

Hi C4Lv1n, nice to have W900 fellow from same country. For the fast port problem, it didn't happen to me as i very seldom use the fast port to use the headphone, except when charging or using cable data, but the port work just fine and never lose, hopefully this will last for long. So, how long have u been using this great phone? How much u bought that time?

The W900 sound quality is way better than W810. the N73 is alot clearer in sound quality but W900 is a lil bit louder. W900 camera pics are realy clear becoz of the Graphics Chip, i thnk W900 camera pics realy do rival N73 pics and video recording of W900 is way beta than N73

the best thing that I've ever had is the SE W900i....;)
I have question to you
Do you find any lose on the fast port conn.??? (especially the HF) because it's really no stuck or even i can say that it never connect. I must put my phone in the pouch with the HF in the bottom pouch and it can stuck. Is it all W900 users find problem same like me??(please answer...:))
P.S I've change the fast port 2x in SE center and buy the other HF(HPM-85) but it's only occur for the 1st week, after that it getting lose again -.-
but beside that all...
I really love this SE W900I more than my Nokia N80(I buy this phone for only the wireless...)hehehehehehe

Even though i have a W810i, the W900 beat it by far !!! I am currently in begging process to my parents to buy it for me !!! I love it I want it I need it I will DIE without it

Well am a real fan of the W900i since it was 1st announced.. my friend do own one and after using it, i maintain that it a indeed a very nice phone loaded with lots of features..
I have made up my ming to buy one in the near future but the only thing that am afraid of is if its stopped being on sale, imean have it really stopped being saled?????

I definetly agree @ W900 Owner, yep at no.1 is NOKIA to ere in SA. one of the major reasons that lead to it being discontinued was becoz it was realy expensive to make,the NVIDIA GRAPHICS, HUGE MEMORY GUD CAMERA,HUGE SCREEN etc. . . and on top of that it was made in JAPAN, SONY ERICSSON also added that the W900 was mainly a testing field for most new technology they had lyk WALKMAN, CYBERSHOT,GRAPHICS CHIPS, LOUD SOUND etc. . .so it realy wasnt meant to be made at mass market, thats u find that W900 is a great allround multimedia device

Tsepz, In my country, W900 also described as fail product in marketing terms, i dun know why, may be because at first release, the price is so high, i don't even have budget to buy W900 at that moment, may be the price is one of few factor that makes w900 drop in sales. I also count myself very lucky to get this phone finally at "cheap" price for such wonderful phone though have to wait for more than 1 years. Anyway, in Indonesia, Sony Ericsson market have reached No 2, no need to mention who is the No 1, rite? I sincerely hope Sony Ericsson will be No 1 for future because its products never fail to amaze me, don't you agree? :)

Thanks for your help but I have tried with an original USB cable and then brought a aftermarket one and still no luck, I brought it to a mobile phone repairing place and they couldnt fix it... it is not under warrenty as I had it for some time now...AHHHH this is horrible... I may have to get another one, has anyone got any idea of which is a good phone to replace a w900i? i found it very difficult to find one that has features that satisfy me like the w900i... Thanks anyway man!

@llaw19: then again, it could be as simple as a defective USB cable. try to use another cable and if that doesn't fix the problem, might be the firmware. saves a trip to the service center tho...good luck

llaw19: might be a firmware glitch. i suggest you take it to where you got the unit if it's still under warranty or just take it directly to an Ericsson service center in your place.

My w900i can not be recognised by the computer! the screen asking you to chose File transfer or phone mode showed up and I selected file transfer but the compputer just doesnt recognise it, no popup, not showing up as a removable drive, not even a installation wizard! Can any one help? ALSO after trying to connect and disconnect a few times, I cant receive messages any more! I have to switch off and switch on again to receive some of the messages and it keeps coming even I have deleted it and it wont save into inbox.... the whole message operation is stuffed! I want to flash it but I CANT CONNECT TO THE COMPUTER!!!!! I can send out messages just fine though.... there goes my W900i... man, I loved that phone and I want to but another if this one cannot be fixed... there arent any other like the W900i... Please help me...

No problem @ Dee, im glad to help :-) ,wen u get ur W900 make sure u buy a 1gb or more memory card for it and you will LOVE IT! this phone can keep up with a NOKIA N73 in multi-media: music, pics, video, gaming, and internet browsing
