actually, slim phones are less durable than big fatty phones like this one. and let me tell you that this is very sturdy and reliable as SE always makes solid construction out of their phones. the only already died issue is their joystick used before the K750.

@ mykster™ dont buy at greenhills, the gave an ordinary headset and not the HPM-85. try posting @ bidshot. I got my w900i there cheap but in very good condition. im loving this phone!!!

there's a lot of positive terms to describe this fone but i'm just worrying about swivel most of the fone folded type,slide or swivel is sensitive how u can assure me guyz it's durable sorry for being so skeptical... i'm dying to get this fone

The W900 is alot beta than the W810, even thou the W810 is a brilliant phone,the W900 is just way beta

@noname, i can only tell you that i sold my w810 to get the new w900 and i'm prouder to hold w900 and there are some improvement on w900 than w810, so i strongly suggest you to buy w900 than any available phone at the moment, it can even compared and win over some new released phones.

@ bluepotato, i have never had that charging error,maybe ther is sumthng wrong with your battery or maybe its a bug that comes with the new firmware. unfortunetly you cant set different ringtones for different Profiles, you can only set ringtones in SOUNDS and ALERTS if ur W900 is vodafone branded, or in SOUND SETTINGS if ur W900 is not branded

the W900 is realy durable and solid, ive dropd mine so many times and its stil working perfectly and luks as gud as new especialy in day light. @ Mykster, you wil not be dissapointed

is there anybody could tell me regarding the durability of the w900 bcoz i'm planning to buy a 2nd hand @ greenhills so i'm a little bit skeptical so pls give me a feed back this is urgent so i can buy this fone & i wish my credit card will never be declined again wahe3...

im a first time SE user and w900 is my first. i sold my N70 for this..hehe
im having a problem charging. sometimes when i charge my phone its says charging error. whats the problem with that?
and second, it seems that i can edit my profiles ringtone but all profile will have the same ringtone. how can i change it?
other than those problems this phone is awesome!!
btw, i have the latest firmware.

@ Noname , i'm not sure about the firmware to fix your problem if white screen problem keep appeared,it happened to me last time, my W810 screen keep white and keep restart everytime after few seconds,this is happened after i take out the cable data from computer without turn off the safety icon, the only way to fix your phone may be go to sony ericsson center and ask them to install the firmware, usually they take no charge fee.

i hav a w900 for a couple of months now,,,, i have this problem about the games application, i just use my usb to download my games,, and then after downloading i try to install it to my phone,, and then my is not working properly everytime i download a game it will restart,, and the game is not installed,,,, can somebody help me with this problem plsssssss?

Hi everyone i have a W900i and just had it flashed but now only get a white flashing screen, so i need the original firmware that was on the phone does anyone know where i can download this, please help thanks.

@ Tsepz, I sometimes turn off my phone sometimes don't, but mostly i turn it off to save the battery. The camera quality is good, even better compared with k750 or w810,because i own w810 before and my bro own k750,and for the video, it's SUPERB, the best in its class of all 2mp camera, even can compared with 3.2 mp camera i guess. @ Bloat, thanks for your advice. In my country, when i select the "select network" it comes out with a lot of choices(a lot of providers), and my main provider provides 2 choices, it is GSM and 3G,so of course i choose to use GSM since i very rare use 3G servises, and everytime after i choose the GSM, the GSM network only shows for seconds, after that, it automatically shows the 3G sign again. Anyway, i can cope with that situation now, may be it's my provider that make it like that since they are the one in charge for GSM and 3G.

about the 3G/GSM... Did you choose GSM only at the "select network" part of the "mobile networks" folder or did you choose GSM only at the "GSM/3G networks" part of the "mobile networks" folder? I just set it to GSM only on the "GSM/3G networks" part. If that's already what you did, try setting both.

Yep i charge mine every nite since i use mine alot for music and internet, i always turn it off wen i go to sleep,an u? how are you finding the camera and video quality?

Yeah Tspez, i guess u right, the 3G sign only
shows that im in 3G hot spot without actually activate the network. Anyway, did you often charging your W900 battery, i normally charge it after 1,5 days , how about you? Do you switch off your phone when sleeping?

WOW thats weird @ W900 buyer, it shud stay as GSM, ive also switchd my 3G off, i only switch bak to 3G when i want to download music or any other big files that are more than 2MB, but im nt to sure why yourz goes bak to 3G/GSM and doesnt stay as GSM, tel me after you've switchd to GSM only and you go bak to the settings is the phone set bak to 3G/GSM? coz maybe yourz displays the 3G icon just to tel u that you are in a 3G HOTSPOT but it doesnt actualy use the 3G network since u hav turnd it off

yo, Tsepz, allow me bothering you with another question again hehehe....do u know how to make the 3G network inactive? because everytime i set the network to GSM, the 3G network will still appears after few seconds.
This 3G network seems to consume my battery life quite fast. Thanks in advance for your advice :)
