Well the 3.5mm jack is not an issue because this phone has a connector that allows you to use 3.5mm earphone. I have this for some months now and I never experienced such failures(switch problem, auto shut down etc.) The memory... well quite good. My only problem here is the fingerprints that are left when you touch the phone. Other than that, this is cool.. Nice SE brand again.., also watch out for X10... it will surely kick @ss!!

i brought this unit of phone jus last november and now my phone does not ON anymore....is this a big problem to my phone or just a little?kindly help me regarding the problem of my phone...plzz...im from the philippines...i realy need some help..

I baught this W902 few months back. from the I'm facing problem to copy files in it. It shows
"The device has either stopped responding or has been disconnected. Although this device supports video files, it does not support .3gp files. if possible, use a media program that can convert the file before copying it."
it show mp3 for .mp3 files instead of .3gp.
What can be done? I've updated the phone through update service. But no result. I bought it from Dubai just before finally coming back. I used W700i, K750i, W880 and K800 before this set. all of them bought from Dubai and I had no problem with those. But this time I came back to Bangladesh finally, and I will not go back there within next two years. and as I didn't have any problem with my previous four Sets, I didn't even bother to keep the documents. The set is max 5000 taka costly to me if I cannot copy data to its memory card or phone memory. But it costs me more than 20000 taka. I am a student and its really costly to me.
So what do you suggest?

Nokia always has 3,5 mm jack because they headset is bad so we have to change the headset..but SE seldom comes with 3,5mm jack because their headset is cool and we don't have to change it.. SE still rocks!

My Sony Ericsson W902's cam is not working since its fallen down & its a cam ribbon issue, even in the main service centere they dont have its spare parts, please tell me where can i get a cam ribbon for replacement.

dear , me hav this phone .... awesome battery life ... i got three days in the maximnum use (always using walkman player , photos etc...)and in standby get 4 days .... sound clear , photo clear ,,,,, superb superb superb..... nice design tooooo
reall sony ericson can really proud with this handset ... goooooooooooooo ahead

so you can use ANY earphone with 3.5mm jack

I've had this phone for a week. I'm pretty satisfied with it. What caused a little disappointment to me was the tiny phone memory (as for the inside) and the loose back cover (as for the outside). I had a Nokie Xpress Music phone previously and SE W902 sounds way better! This is my first SE phone.

duki, 12 Jan 2010I have this phone for six months and don't have any problem... more10x for replaying man it really helped but one thing I already checked on C901 and the guys wrote that it has software problems .
I think that is the case wit all the new generation of SE phones .
we just have to be careful.

w902 is great both the camera and music player (walkman)..
it reminds me with my 2nd phone W800i..
w902 =
music player : great outlooks..great sounds both in headset and output speaker (try equalizer MEGABASS)
camera : have a complete feature just like digicam..with good qualities photos (i've proven on my PC, n my friends thought it was taken by my digicam..hhahah)
honestly,,,w902 is a little bit behind than another music phone..because the phone is still using SE connector not 3,5 mm (universal)..but it's no big deal,,coz we alredy get great headphones just like using Senheisser (with adapter to jack 3,5 mm)
and w902 doesn't have operating system just like symbian..android..windows..etc.
and last but not least,,,hey the batteries are outstanding!
very suitable for music phone..and better than Nokia series N or express music (sorrry..but that's fact)
