I thnks it's an awesome phone altho i haven't tried it but i got experience using SE phones from T 610 to now W810 which i sold it last month,I'm planning to buy it next month i'm a big fan of SE.it's challenging not like other phones which are kinda boring.

I forgot to ask a question - W902's available colours. Hi there Fey, you're right about W995's price...it's too high pal, so if I want to buy a W995 I think maybe I'll be waiting for months or year until its price reasonably decreased.

Well I got this phone like three months ago now. Overall I can say one thing: GREAT phone.
The quality of the music played is awesome, the equalizer definitely does its job when it comes to suiting the sound to your personal taste. The sound quality outputted to an audio system is simply marvelous, clean and clear as ice. A BIG thumbs up for the audio quality and the performance in the player. Double thumbs of for the headphones, they are simply the best out there. Absolutely 0 distortion on maximum volume.
About the back speaker, well, on too many audio channels it tends to fade down some group of sounds but it's not something necessarily noticeable. But regarding the volume of the speaker, thumbs up! The only distortion you can get is on extremely complex bass and treble sounds, and that only at maximum volume. Thumbs up!
Call quality: very good. Frankly I was really surprised by the speaker quality once again, unlike my old, shitty u600. Another thumbs up.
Video playback. Impecable. The only small discomfort is that sometimes when you press play it can take a few seconds to load in case of large files, but heck, this is a common issue for all the headsets out there. Thumbs up.
Overall performance. Well, I can't say it's perfect, there is room for better. In the contacts tab when you search for something there's an annoying delay when you enter the keywords. This is most likely a software bug. Java performance is impecable though. Multitasking is marvelous once again, I tested by minimizing three applications, starting a phone call and browsing through the phone's memory card. All three at the same time, and the headset didn't even produce the slightest amount of delay whatsoever. Though I find it very curious that while listening to music the phone does tend to lag a bit. This is probably just another software bug. I mean hey, it can do all those three things at the same time impecably and it can't handle music + browsing? Be serious. Note for the sony erricson guys. These are pretty annoying issues. The phone is more than capable, but the software is limiting it. A waste of resources my friends. And now that I mentioned it, when texting or writing something on the phone, if I write one letter and try to write another one before the one-letter-timer expires, the letter tooltip on the screen doesn't show up until you stop pressing the respective button. Just a small issue once again.
Design. Great. Nothing to say. At first the buttons seemed small, but you know what? They're not. And I don't have slim fingers, my ring size on the middle finger is M. The keyboard is one of the best for typing without looking at it. Perfect concept!
One thing I don't like. The side player buttons are pressed way too easily. Happens really often to me that I wanna slide my phone into my pocket and I accidentally press a button. BUT I have never had the issue for a button to be pressed INSIDE my pocket whatsoever. Once again, the side buttons have an amazing concept build for pressing without looking.
The camera is great, the LED flash is damn great, maybe the greatest LED flash I have probably seen. Those who compare this phone to N85 at camera are damn silly. The picture quality of the two are similar, BUT the N85 flash is so damn bad it makes everything yellowish. This is pure white.
That's all for now, I just wanna add that the menu is damn great as well, the features are great. Though I would have liked some extra settings for the phone such as backlight time and such. Well, it's not a big fuss though.
Great phone, and I hope I illuminated some of your minds with this review. If you wanna buy it, I seriously recommend it. With future software updated this phone will be perfect.

@Andres: I have the same question as you Andres, so who could tell us which phone has the best music performance between: w980, w902, w705, w715, w995. Actually I don't care much about w995 cuz its price's kinda high to me, but the rest is ok, especially w902 because I just love the design, lol

Nice to meet you all SE lovers! I had ever used W810i and like it very much and then I gave it to my daughter. Now I use N82 but I have a plan to buy a new phone as my other phone and I choose Sony Ericsson because I love musics. Please anybody tell me, I consider W902, W995 or W705 but I don't know which one of them has the best music sound quality. Thanks everybody.

lol nokia users who are jealous of this music on the go will be casting the phone.i love this phone and one thing with walkman phones is that they are not comparable with xpress music.walkman 3.0players as in w902i is just the best.go for it its awesome friends.compliments of the season users.

certainly the worst handset i have had from SE (or even Ericsson) ever!
1. it's damn slow, specially in phonebook and with some apps. and it has gotten slower and slower for me over time, despite flashing it with SEUS.
2. Hickups: they kill the pleasure of having a 'normal phone'; calls that get rejected or can not be answered. sudden pause and resume when you're simply going around in your phone.
3. dial keys developing cracks: this i have seen with other SE models as well; S500 as an example.
i have had W810 and T630 from SE and have never been so mad, and my old phones both work perfectly, even now. i have to admit that their new software is way better of course, but overall this one is not sth you wanna try.

does anyone compare the music performance between w902 and w980? I mean play some same songs with both phones and let your soul feel the difference :). I just want to know is the music quality of w902 surpass w980 or they're are the same?

the gap between the screen and the body frame
cause the phone look not very smart o tough body..
so sad..
