It only has an upgraded software (like every Walkman with the A200 platform) That's why it's still on par with earlier Walkmans such as W810, W580, W880, etc.

When you buy this phone look at as it it a piece of jewelery
that will stay with you for years
a phone that its screen will never scratch
a phone that have a 8gb memory with excellent high quality music
at that point you will realise that you would do anything for it

Why would you buy a unit that has no 3.5 mm jack that's being sold as a music phone, no wi-fi, uses a type of card that's incredibly expensive (M2) and most of all the price is only for the very rich. good money sense is more important than brands. you like very expensive phones with few new features? buy this unit.

thats why se is going down.. coz, they put crazy price withour a complete spec..
lets compare this w902 woth n79. thay have same level of price..
n79 has wifi, 16m color, carl zeiss optic.. even tough in sound deprtmnt w902 will be better, but, the price is unreasonable..
same case as w980, no wifi, average cam, no flash, no autofocus, price is sooooo crazy..
plz se.. read my comment and consider it..

this phone is doomed. it has a very high price tag, and in these times, with the features it offers, very few would be in their right mind to buy this. this phone will be a sales failure. SE, you want some sales? bring the prices of your phones down. nobody cares about brands anymore, the important thing is the price.

Hmmm, 04 Apr 2009Well, i like this phone alot, and at first i thought it had... moreive just got myself a brand new w980 and its great so far,had it 7 hrs..The difference in music is superb to the n85 i am using at moment...got it for £129.99 plus £10 top up on o2..Still using hpm 82 earbuds off w900i but will try these ones that came with the w980 sometime..Thats my opinion after searching the entire s/e forums plus the half price sale sold me..
