Oh man! perfect phone for a hacker like me. I don't have a car, i don't need a GPS, if I have i would get a garmin nuvi or whatever which i can also use for war driving. I download music, movies, chat when connected to internet, but i rather do that on my macbook pro. 3G will do just fine for random google search while i'm on the go. It doesn't have a xenon flash, but I have a digicam which i would rather use to take pictures. It doesn't have that loud speaker but I have a bluetooth stero headset which I rather use in noisy environment. I don't give a flying donut about the lack of separate DSP chip coz playing music shouldn't be that complicated, this phone should work fine when you're using a headset. 3.5mm, I would only ask for it if I have a Sennheizer. This is a really slick phone. I've been looking for a phone with 2.2 inches display. Perfect. I'm coming from w880i.

It will have a good loudspeaker, or just connect your phone to a Hi-Fi
even iPod's can only be connected to Hi-Fi , since they dont have built in Loudspeakers
but the new 2nd Gen iPod Touch has speakers

This phone comprises somehow the fusion of W980 and C902 features but the design is too simple to be true... so its definitely worth considering to buy a W902 instead.

Accelerom... moreSlightly bigger screen - you're right, it's not a huge difference, but it's still a plus point. Accelerometer - it's used for so much more than auto rotate for pics and vids; walkman shake control, pedometer, gaming. Not sure if the phone will use all of these, but it's certainly possible. *Gb card - ok, so people are cheap because SE included a memory card? Why pay for one if the phone comes with it? SE headphones - sure a lot of people prefer to use t0heir own, and that's understandable. Seperate earphones are (nearly) always gonna sound better than bundled ones, but there can be little doubt that SE's bundled earphones are the best out there. Good enough that seperate ones aren't REALLY neccessary.
As for your comment about there being too many SE fanboys? Whaddya expect? This IS a thread about an SE phone. If you're not an SE fan then what the hell are you even doing here...?

SE headphones... prefer using own like everyone else. Mine's Shure earphones =;)
Phone is best for 1) Just getting it 2) new users or 3) upgrade camera from w890i.
If you already have a (digital) camera, just buy the w890i and save some money!
Too many SE fanboys here!
The average buyer can't buy a new phone everytime SE releases one, especially since SE phones nowadays are beginning to look alike!
Est. price based on various online forums and news reports are ~$600 USD whereas the w890i is ~$325 USD and dropping!

Note to any US T-Mobile users:
According to various T-Mobile USA phone and tech support reps, 3G service is NOT available since T-Mobile USA's 3G network runs on UMTS 1700/1900 NOT UMTS 2100 which this phone and other SE phones operate on to get 3G! There are no current plans to extend the frequency range since the 3G network has started to roll out across the US using only the 1700/1900 frequencies.
Just have to stick with GSM with T-Mobile USA or get a phone that will use UMTS 1700/1900!
